Maybe an employee checklist would help.
The staff didn't provide any written or verbal information about my stay. They didn't tell me that to open the door to my room I had to pull the door handle UP! Never in all my travels has that happened. I had to return to the desk, with my bags, to find out why my door was still locked from the inside. Also, they never told me about where and when breakfast would be. So strange. The hotel room was outdated. There wasn't a toilet paper dispenser. Just a square hole where it should have been ..with the toilet paper roll on the sink counter. The bed was on a high base and had no side support. This made it very difficult for me to climb in. There were hairs on the shower walls, and eyelash in one of the coffee cups and I found someone's vape next to the nightstand. The towels smelled like they've spent a few days in a greasy kitchen. Lastly, they provided a coffee maker and coffee in the room, but no sugar or creamer...and a Day's Inn pen, but no paper. Oh, and the garbage can didn't have a liner.

Two washing machines that were out of order for the entire hotel. They were not fixed during our 9 day stay. Towels were very limited. The keycard had to be rekeyed multiple times.

Simple motel and basic breakfast. Rooms are spacious with good storage and mirrors to get ready. The housekeeping staff is very nice and friendly. Rooms are generally clean but the corners were very dusty and dirty, bathroom was small with barely any counter space and toilet was not very clean. Hair dryers need to be updated, it was barely working.
