Excellent staff. Very friendly and welcoming.
I would suggest that the hotel invests in different tables and chairs in the breakfast area. They just need to be a different design to create more room by allowing chairs to be pushed under. It's a simple fix and would make moving around the space a lot easier.
The room that I had was compact but had everything I needed as a solo traveller.
It could be noisy outside of the hotel but this is outside of the hotel's control and it was quiet after 8pm so an irritant rather than an issue.
Good location and I would have no hesitation in returning.
Well done to all of the staff
my friend and i stayed here and had paid for our room a couple of months in advance. When we arrived at the hotel we paid the £18 tax as mentioned. However, the lady at the front desk told us we had to pay a £100 deposit even though we had already paid for the room in advance. We paid this as we were told it would automatically return into the account. The money has not been returned and I have tried to call to sort this out multiple times but the manager is extremely rude and couldn’t care any less, and has hung up on me multiple times. Don’t stay here if you don’t want to have your money stolen.
We loved our stay at the hotel! The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming and provided us everything. The room was spotless, clean and welcoming. The location was excellent and easy to explore Paris with bus and tube stations nearby. The people hanging around looked shady and the area was not clean but that’s not the hotel’s fault!
Standard small room for Paris i used a 3 people room and space was very limited
Shower and bathroom was surprisingly big
Very close to several Metro stations that makes it very convenient but unfortunately the area of the hotel has a lot of homeless people not friendly so arriving late is risky
Beautiful little hotel that has been recently refurbished with all modern necessities and a gorgeous breakfast room. The team who runs the hotel were lovely and very accommodating. Clean, bright, modern rooms. The location and surrounding area was questionable but the hotel itself feels safe and secure.
Travelled for work and wanted to stay near by main train connections. Hotel was easy to find and fitted very well my requirents. Check in was easy, room clean and by the looks recently refurbished. Traveling from UK having kettle and tea was treat to my colleagues they asked for milk which was provided. Checking out was easy and they been happy to look after our luggage so in term of our need 100% and beyond. Good understanding of English and happy to help. Overall very positive experience, thank you
The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the basilica and montmarte. , The staff speak English if needed, are immensely helpful and kind- they are available 24 hours. The rooms are très petite but clean, quaint, have a private bathroom as well as coffee set up. There is a tiny outdoor garden that is adorable as well as a comfortable little lounge area. The bed was comfy and the pillows were wonderful. I enjoyed the stay and would use this hotel again
The hotel was more run down than the internet photos let you believe. The bathroom was beyond bijoux. Trying to get milk for the coffees was a challenge.
However the staff were lovely and the beds were super comfy.
Easy to walk to and from Gare du Nord station and the metro.

The hotel provided a 3 star service as expected , my disappointment was the area where the hotel was situated , both my wife and myself felt very intimidated travelling between the hotel and central Paris , there were groups of males in every doorway and street corner who were watching us . After dark our venerability increased
The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and they'd provided a fan to help with the heat. The staff were obliging and we appreciated that they were able to store our luggage after check out.

I found a dirty nappy by the telephone in my room but they changed it and gave me a new one. It still stands that the first room I was given was disgusting!
its not the hotel that is fine but its the neighborhood. when you get off the train/subway at la chapelle you encounter alot of immigrants that would rob you; i had to be escorted by the police about twice so be warned.

Helpful and friendly staff
It was basic and met our needs. It had a lift, ac and wifi which were priorities for me. Onsite computer that was referenced was nonexistent which was a problem as I had some things to print. I did, with some difficulty, locate an internet café. Was not as close to train station as name implied but it is walkable. Pictures are a lot nicer (and give illusion of more space and quality) than the reality. Onsite staff very friendly and helpful.

Location is bad. Hotel itself is ok.
If you are a family with young child read this. Hotel itself was ok and clean. The room which I book was a double room and we were a couple with a 2 years old. The room they offred was a tiny room with a super tiny wash room ( it wasnt a bathroom, just had shower and very tiny it was) no A/C as hotel with 3 star should offrer this anyway we are went there in hot hot weather. The location is the poorest area in Paris. In terms of any aspect you might think it was poor. I would not recomend this hotel of you are going there as a family the area is not SAFE. And this hotel given 3 star in 2013 so bear that in mind, is like a bed and breakfast rather than hotel with *** .
The hotel room is in great condition. Concierge service is excellent as they are very helpful and polite.
The area is not safe to walk around late evening as there are many non-resident men loitering around the train station, La Chapelle.
Breakfast is simple but great as the breads are freshly baked every morning, service staff is polite and pleasant.
Overall experience is great except location.

Very bad neighborhood
Frightening experience due to the neighborhood. Lots of groups of young men loud and boisterous hanging around with nothing to do most of the night. Fights at the subway and lots of police w dogs combing the area. We left after the second night. Later we learned the area is known for drug dealers and violence. Beware.
Hotel staff at night were unresponsive. The AC didn't work so I asked for a fan. After a couple of calls and over an hour wait, we finally gave up on the first night. The second night I was able to get a fan because I went to the front desk and got it myself.
Everything is an add on charge.
