Super fun and exciting part of the city!! Close to a lot of amazing things and great food. The pool and restaurants at the hotel are fantastic and the free international breakfast buffet was so fun!

This was a Christmas vacation for my daughter and myself. The hotel was nice with descent amenities. I had to call multiple times to get extra towels, the ice machine on my floor was only working 1 day of the 4 nights and no microwaves were available to guest. I was told they do not have microwaves or allow guest access to microwaves. I visited several high end restaurants and wanted to eat my leftovers the next day but could not heat them up. Even the most expensive hotels have microwaves for guest use. This was very disappointing.

The RIU is a good value for the money although showing its age a little. The breakfast buffet was one of the best and the servers did a good job keeping up with the large number of diners. The pool area was ok but did not offer any view. I didn’t feel it was great area to be walking around. The gym was ok but not fantastic. My king size bed was super comfortable. Facility was very clean and staff excellent.

We stayed over New Year’s Eve and being able to see the city fireworks from our hotel room was a big plus! Otherwise, the location is kind of rundown and dingy. We were able to get a nice fresh breakfast in the cafeteria and would definitely recommend. We just prefer smaller hotels.

The property is in a great spot. Lots of options for entertainment around and easy access to the metro and bus to get to the malls and even the airport! The breakfast buffet is amazing especially the fruits. Would love to stay here again.
