I loved the location of the property. I got the vibe of a worn out spring break hotel that used to be elegant. There were items in our room that needed repair or attention. The water in the pool was freezing cold and only one bar/restaurant open. Disappointed for the extra $49 "resort fee" and what it actually covered. Would have rather stayed at the Holiday Inn Express down the road it was much nicer and the same price.

I’ll never stay at a Holiday Inn again

When I got to the hotel… And I have stayed here several times… The gentleman behind the counter, treated me with a condescending attitude and ignored my request to be on a higher floor, then proceeded to stick me as far from the elevator as he possibly could and told me that I couldn’t get a better room because I didn’t pay anymore. I will never stay at this hotel again more importantly I’ll never stay with Holiday Inn again there were no people in the parking lot no cars the hotel was near empty and the difference in the cost of my room and those on upper floors was only $10-$20. I don’t normally leave negative reviews but this was ridiculous and I felt necessary to let others know.

Cons- the pool is advertised as heated but the only pool that is heated is the kiddy pool. No was was in the lazy river or big pool because they were FREEZING. The SPLASH area was fully functioning but blocked off CLOSED for liability reasons. The whole reason we booked it was for the splash park that was closed our entire stay. NO COMPLIMENTARY COFFEE. 4$ coffee. NO BUFFET. 20$ for a breakfast sandwich. Pros- ALL staff were friendly and welcoming. Kids eat free. The hot tub was big. Probably won't be staying here again. There are keurigs in each room however no creamer. Maybe come during summer. I'm not a Karen just feel jipped. Mainly because we came for the pools that were not heated and freezing and the spash pad that was blocked off.
