Overall I had a great time and a great experience at this resort. The pros are that we stayed in a deluxe preferred room which gave us access to the preferred pool which was adults only. The service from Eric the bartender was fantastic! And the service from the gentleman at the poolside snack bar Alvaro was phenomenal.

It was a good place for the price, the only thing for me was the rooms were not clean until PM, and when call for assistance I had to wait 15-20 minutes, still no one showed up, I had to keep calling them. But i will definitely go back.

We had an excellent experience. Our kids are 10 and 12 and we felt very safe letting them go to different areas of the resort without us. We were there at an off season but had the most amazing time. Every room has an amazing view! Uber pickup and drop off was easy and safe. I would definitely stay at this or another of their resorts on our next trip!

We booked the “Deluxe” King Suite thinking it would be a nice room … maybe don’t book the Deluxe … The room was mildewed and the smell even came home with us. Outside of the STRONG mildew smell in the room (mildew was visible in the corner of the bathroom poorly covered with paint) everything else was great, the initial check-in, the staff, the entertainment team, the pool and beach area — they were all amazing. It’s just a bummer how it smelled so bad of mildew - I literally said to my partner everytime we went to the room it was a strong mildew smell… the first day I even felt a little sick and had headaches majority of my time there which could have been caused by the strong smell. I didn’t get good pictures but still captured some of it nonetheless.

It is about 40 minutes from the city. Taxis ran us close to $70 one way from the airport. Transfers through the hotel shuttles cost almost $60 one way. Some of the staff speak little to no English. Most of the lobby staff are fluent in English and other languages. All of the staff were very hospitable. The bartenders were great. The vouchers through Expedia were okay. The amount of the spa treatment prices was a bit excessive. The vouchers don't help much in bringing the cost down, because you can't combine them. The excursions were nice but pricey. Overall, a good stay, depending on if you like a secluded vacation versus the city.

We loved the staff so much!! Kathleen was absolutely lovely. The hotel was wonderful in every way and very well maintained. Loved that all rooms were ocean facing too!! The only thing that could use improvement is having more variety in dining options. It was quite monotonous and not the greatest. Staff were not very good with serving coffee every morning during breakfast. Many people had to just get up and serve themselves as the staff didn’t seem to stay on top of walking around offering it very often. However, I would still go back there in an heartbeat and know I would enjoy another fabulous holiday, regardless!!
