The location is great! Right by the beach and within walking distance to a couple of decent restaurants. We loved the pools as well! The place is a little run down but that would have been ok if it at least was clean. Upon arrival the floors in our room were so dirty that they left our soles black when we were barefoot. We requested additional cleaning which was done the morning after. Great service! Or so we thought… the floors never seemed to dry after the cleaning so we wiped them with a towel. The towel ended up completely black. Later that day we had to kill two cockroaches in the room which didn’t help the overall feeling of a lack of cleanliness. We liked that breakfast was included (even if the healthy options were very limited) and the tea/lemonade/coffee bar during the day! Upon arrival we had to pay an additional nightly fee ”because we booked through a third party” meaning Hotels.com. This was not advertised in advance and had we known about this it would have been cheaper to book directly with the hotel. So that was quite disappointing.

The entire staff were very kind and helpful. We were impressed with all of the people that worked there. The room was very clean and the view of the gulf water was perfect. If we ever travel to Panama City Beach again, we will stay here.

Overall it was… okay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. No complaints there at all! The building itself could definitely use some maintenance and repair. The room seemed relatively clean, but I did kill more than one roach during our two night stay.

Sept 2024…. The good: location, right on the beach. It’s very convenient. Beach view from the room. Staff was helpful. Beds were comfortable. The beach was nice. The bad: the room floor was very dirty, we observed a few cockroaches in the room, TV screen was damaged, air conditioning was noisy, the whole room / hotel needs to be upgraded. Find parking place in the hotel could be a challenge. The neighborhood seems not to be very attractive to take your family out for a nice walk at night. Close to $500 for two nights by the way. We will look for a different option next time. We just did not feel the value for our money was there.

Entire property needs to be remodeled and redone. Everything from the lobby to the room to the balcony is in desperate need of repair. Breakfast was wholesale style with no taste, and no healthier options. Water was dripping everywhere on our balcony, the safe in the room wasn’t working, cockroaches outside by the stairs. The only nice thing was the ocean view from the balcony however, Will not stay there again.
