Really enjoyed
My family really enjoyed ourselves during our stay. From check-in to check-out the hotel staff was super friendly. Resort grounds were well kept and both pools were kept clean even with high winds. Our rooms were clean and we never had to ask for anything. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Boardwalk Beach Resort for a wonderful stay.

I’ve been to this property two other times before. But this visit was very unpleasant. When we first walked in, there was a very large cockroach in the entryway. I was willing to overlook that because it’s Florida and we’re on the beach but this morning when I woke up, there was a very large bug under my covers in my BED. It very much grossed me out and I packed all of our stuff and we left right then. I complained to the girls at the front desk but I know there’s very little they can do. And of course the managers don’t come in until 10 AM. Also, our door never shut properly. You would have to shut it and then reshut it because it looks like at some point the door frame had been broken. They had tried to put something over it to fix it and extra screws but you could tell it looks like the door has been damaged. The concrete steps leading up to the other floors were very dirty and it looks like they’ve never really been pressure washed or cleaned. Also, the floors in our room were very dirty. I really wish I would’ve brought some cleaning supplies from home so I could clean the floors. Neither my husband or myself would walk barefoot in our room. I do like that the hotel is right on the beach and dog friendly. That is nice however I just paid $350 for two nights and it was not a very comfortable experience at all.

The property knows but we had mold all over our covers and walls. I took pictures. I love the area and staying there but it’s just not safe for my kid and one kid got sick we left a little early and booked a different hotel for spring break

Nice hotel on the beach
I evacuated with my family for Hurricane Milton. This was the one hotel that had a single room with 3 beds (bunk beds make 4 beds). The room was a very nice size and looked directly onto the beach. The hotel could use updating, as there were rust stains on the ceiling of the tub area. The layout was very weird, as you had to step into the bathroom to get in the room, as the entryway was very narrow. The room also took a while to cool down upon arrival, but the ac unit did cool, just not enough to my personal liking as the room was so large.

A disgrace of a place.
Never again eill i or snybody i know stay at this property. I reserved this for my mother to evacuate from Hurricane Milton. She arrived at 4pm to check in but checked out at 8pm the same day. She left the property shortly after checking in to get somethings and something to eat. When she arrived back to thr property there was now where to park. She is just recovering from 2 heart attacks and is disabled . She was told by security that if she parked any where he was having her vehicle towed. She the parked at the front door long enough to pick up her belongings out of thr room and checked out. She then called me and told me about the situation. I called the property and was but on hold for 20 minutes for a manager. Talked with the manager and told thrm that my mother was therr to evacuate from Hurricane Milton and was disabled. Her home was under a curfew and her home had no power and the road was closed to her house because of glooding snd doen trees. My mother would rather drive all night to get back homr than to be treated the way she was. She arrived home at 5am escorted by the Sheriff's department.

Well we arrived around 5:00 a.m. after driving 9 hours to leave get out of a hurricane and they only had one person was very slow I only had four people in front of me and it took 50 minutes to check in The staff was very friendly though and nice they need to update there are no handicap doors at all anywhere and my wife was in a wheelchair and her best friend was in a scooter I didn't even know that was legal

We got to the hotel several hours early evacuated from a hurricane and they made us pay for another night instead of letting us check in early. Three hours later I went to the front desk and they were letting EVERYONE check in early but yet I had to pay for another night of a room when it was only 5 hours before check out time!! There were bugs all on our floor some dead some alive, Crap in the toilet, and the sink and tub was dirty. I honestly feel like they should be made to give me my money back for the room!! Only good thing I can say is the beach was right there!!!

They do add on fees, so the "final" cost you see isnt the actual price you will pay. All in all you cant beat the value for the room on the beach you get. You cant pick the room you get or what floor. I will definitely be staying here next time as well. Thank you for the AMAZING vacation.
