Beautiful property and resort. Food and drinks were very good. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Lacking a fitness gym and shuttle to the town. Without the shuttle you have 1 tuk-tuk for the entire hotel guests, or you can walk on a very, very, rugged and hard to walk road, up a steep hill, and down a very steep hill with traffic and no shoulder for safety. Hot tub and pool were very nice as well. Overall one of the best places in town to stay. Pool/restaurant noise is a concern that kept us up all night until 230am with base that could be heard into the room with a noise machine and ear plugs.

The hotel property has a beautiful and well-kept garden as well as a scenic view of Lake Atitlan. You quickly wonder why it's not rated a 5 star hotel. Then you do quickly find out why it is not, the hotel restaurant service is very slow considering they weren't even crowded while we were there. The staff was friendly though. My recommendations would be to improve the restaurant/ room service, have coffee available in the rooms, get ice machines per floor (there are no ice machines), invest into AC units for the rooms (some nights are not cold outside so you end up being hot in the room). Overall, my experience was good and I will go back to visit.

IT is the most beautiful hotel, the property is gorgeous. It's like being in a botanical garden. Pool and jacuzzi is great. It is super clean. The only downside is that i though the food wss mediocre. I look forward to coming back.

Absolutely beautiful. We stayed for two nights and wish we could've stayed three. The staff are wonderful; The restaurant has delicious food; the gardens are beautiful; the pool and hot tub area is so relaxing and the views are incredible. It is an absolute gem of a spot.

Everything was good besides the entrance to the hotel. Need to work on the road. It can get messy with rain creating mud and difficult to travel from hotel to main road.

This is a beautiful property. The botanical gardens at Hotel Atitlan ALONE are worth the stay. There is an area within the garden with roses variants going back to the 16th century! The Christmas lights set up within the garden are beautiful. The sunrises and sunsets are breath taking. Will definitely stay there again on our next visit.

This hotel was beautiful and affordable to stay at. We couldn’t believe the size of our room and the green space just outside our door, complete with a living room and patio. The pool overlooking the lake was lovely, the staff were accommodating and willing to help with any requests, or even would jump in to help carry belongings if they saw you carrying your own bags without being asked. There are a lot of Christian statues around which was odd but overall everything was beautiful, the grounds were well taken care of, there were parrots in the gardens, and I would recommend staying here for a more upscale night on Lake Atitlan.

Stunning property with amazing gardens and view of the lake. Very good buffet breakfast and friendly/helpful staff. Only downside was the location (needed to get to tuktuks into the local village but these were cheap ($1 per person) and could be quickly booked by the hotel).

The view was beautifully from every corner of the property. I would definitely recommend. We arrived a lil late, so the restaurant was closed. We were given an option to order room service, but were then told the kitchen was actually closed. The good thing is that the rest of the town was a short drive & we were able to easily eat outside of the hotel. We also requested a boat service from a near by town. We had to pay a dock fee. Everything else was amazing.
