The location is great, the pool is decent, and the staff was friendly. However, I would not stay here again simply because of their key/lock system.
Instead of a regular key, guests are given a code used for the gates into the property and rooms. It’s a total nightmare! It often takes several tries to get the door to take the code. I saw and heard other frustrated guests typing in codes repeatedly upon returning to their room late at night. Our group joked that the doors just open for 1/5 attempts regardless of the codes. When explaining the situation to the friendly front desk person they said “sometimes it needs a few tries” with a shrug and grimace. Fair enough, but I sure as hell won’t be trying this place again.
