Old, run down rooms.

Hotel is very old, walls are covered in stains, both bathroom and bedroom. AC does not work (in my room and my colleagues, so this may be intentional). The window in the room is tiny. It takes 5 presses to flush the toilet (water runs only for 1 second). The Hairdryer would die after 5 seconds of using it. This maybe was a 4 star hotel 20 years ago, but definitely not anymore. Definitely not what a more typical NH hotel is.

A decent place but it is a business hotel, not ideal for tourists in my opinion. A far walk from the center of town, which can be deserted and sketchy at night. Biggest problem was that we had no air conditioning in the room, which they apparently control from the front desk!! Overall, the hotel is expensive for what you get. Decor is tired and in need of a refresh. The restaurant at night was good. Breakfast was uninspired and not worth the additional cost.

This property is in major need of a renovation. The carpets in the hallway are dirty and ripped. The bathrooms have tiles popping off the wall. Don't look behind the beds if you don't want to be grossed out. I've stayed at Nh properties before and have always been pleased. This one doesn't feel like it's part of the family at all. I was extremely disappointed. The breakfast was good.

Just loved this property. Mint condition, excellent service and breakfast. Rooms were very nice and big. We had rooms that were connected with its own washrooms. Easy parking options.

Overall, I had a very nice stay at NH Padova. The hotel is a 15-minute walk or 8-minute bus ride from the Padova train station. There is also a direct bus that connects from the train station to the Venice Marco Polo airport. The room was large, clean, and quiet. Contrary to others who find the hotel "dated," I was satisfied with the interior. The complimentary breakfast was expansive, with a beautiful 12th-storey view over the city. My only dissatisfaction was with the check-in. Although there were seven people behind the counter, only one, Luca, was helping guests, who had formed a line. Luca was doing a cheerful, efficient job, but I wondered why no one else seemed to be helping.

Of all the hotels that I have been, this hotel has got to be the quietest I have ever stayed in. My room is right next to the elevator but I didn’t have a problem. I heard people talking briefly but that was it. As for the transportation, the hike to the train station was only 12 minutes, if you’re a fast walker like me.
