I booked the court yard deluxe for the second time to stay there but they upgraded us to another room. If wanted that room I will booked it myself I asked them why as I was happy to stay at where I paid for the lady at the front desk told me they're doing renovation on it. I suggested if you renovated any of your room you should had not advertise it as it's false advertisements. The veranda cafe is my favorite place and the service and foods are excellent there. The staff's work at the Veranda both shop and cafe are so amazingly friendly and professional. The staff's at the main restaurant are lazy. It's took them 15-20minutes to come and asked us if we want to order especially there's only my husband and myself in the restaurant It took them 35 minutes to made me a Banana, Nutella Crepes with the excuse of we have to prepare for Brunch. It doesn't take 5 minutes to made a crepe. We won't be staying at Oyster Bay after having to go through this especially we have to showerd in cold water and thank goodness it's so hot over there.

The everyday staff is super friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately when dealing with the front desk and management I can not say the same. The benefits associated with being a VIP are ridiculous. Continental Breakfast consisted of either toast or croissants and coffee that was it. Although the resort was better than 50 percent empty the property did not offer us an upgrade on our room.

It was a decent property. Main issues were power outages and the beach we were unable to use due to seaweed. The beach issues I know they can’t control but since it is such a secluded resort I think more should have been done such as discounted meals, a free shuttle to beaches throughout the week etc. If you’re looking for beach hotel, I recommend staying on the Caribbean Sea side of island.

Overall not a good resort experience. This was our second visit to the resort, had good expectations. Did not feel particularly welcome from the beginning. Front desk just not very friendly, same for the Shipwreck shop. Property is dated, room had mold on wall/ceiling near the sliding door (it was cleaned during visit). Infinity Bar was very good, pool was great, and Veranda meals and service was great (breakfast/lunch). Infinity restaurant poor, got sick. Considering our first visit was really good, very disappointing this time.

Great Vacation Experience
The staff from reception were helpful it was the icing on the cake when I received a bottle of wine upon checkin. Attention to the little details matter. The room was comfortable and clean and the view of the ocean and St Barth’s on a clear day was wonderful to wake up to.
