This is the best hotel in Oxford. The location is excellent and all the service and history is fun and amazing. The restaurant is also very good.

This is a beautiful location and the lobby areas are lovely, however this was my second stay at the hotel this year and I specifically asked on the second stay to please be placed in a room which was easily accessible and not to far a walk, as I had my elderly father with me who cannot manage several stairs and a very long walk so we needed to be fairly near the lift. I also asked not to be in a room that smells of tobacco and smoke, as we had this problem the first time, as well as being very far from the lofts. Unfortunately we were again placed so far, it was the further room from the lifts possible and again I didn’t get a wink of sleep due to the tobacco smell in the room. So unfortunate for a beautiful hotel. This was a bad experience for us and the staff were not able to help with allocating an alternative room. I am travelling to Oxford again twice next month but will be trying a different hotel.

I had a room next to a restaurant outside speaker - full marks to the lovely people on reception who called them and ask them to turn it off as there were no guests at the tables outside. This was greatly appreciated. Breakfast and the drawing rooms were wonderful. A very enjoyable family stay.

Exceptional hotel. We loved every moment there! Beautiful ensuite bedroom. Service was wonderful. We walked to every thing and packed our car for a few through the valet service for the duration of our stay. The ambience of the entire hotel was classy and lovely. And our favorite was The Morse bar where we sat by the fire on cozy chairs or sofa with velvet pillows and enjoyed a cocktail.

We had stayed for two nights prior to this at a very well known 5 star hotel in London. The Randolph was better than that hotel in every aspect. Beautiful hotel!

This Hotel was nice with good service, but if you are elderly be warned. The number of stairways and halls are not easy to navigate if you have lots of luggage. After we took the elevator to the first floor. We had to go up and down several stairways just to get to our room. It’s wasn’t the easiest hotel to get around.
