New Favorite Hotel Chain

I never knew that Laquinta Inn would be so nice. I felt like this was a brand new hotel but I know it’s not. The staff were all extremely friendly, professional and treated us as if we were family. There was a sweet lady at the desk named Joy and we talked like we have been best friends since childhood. Another lady that checked us in and out was very kind and gave us just the right room in just the right location and one morning she heard someone say that the coffee want hot. She looked at me and asked me if I thought it was hot. I told her no it was like warm at best. She went immediately to the kitchen and told them to get some fresh coffee and less than a minute later out comes fresh brewed hot coffee. Thank you ladies so much for knowing the true meaning of Hospitality. P.S. my husband and I were in the hotel business for 30 years. So we know what we are talking about.

Walls were dirty in the room. The internet was sport. And house keeping never even came. Went to all the other rooms but ours. Every morning at 6 am there was a loud banging noise that sounded like it was coming from in the walls. Front desk staff was friendly stayed a couple of times. Needs some attention

It was the best La Quinta inn I have ever stayed in. It was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again. I really am a snob when it comes to hotels, so for me to say I would stay again is big. Also the price was the best in town for the quality of the stay.

I was disappointed to book the property specifically for the pool area only to find out I can’t even relax near the pool on a 80 degree day because it wasn’t their “pool season”. They advertise the pool as an amenity but that wasn’t true for me. Tub faucet leaks. Bathroom door doesn’t lock. Everything else was fine.

I didn't have hot water the entire weekend. Cold showers the entire weekend. The room had a stale, musky smell plus the hallways were dirty from Friday afternoon through Sunday, no one even tried to clean up mud/dirt from the hall. The bed linens were old and pilling. I slept on top of a blanket I had brought from home. Staff was limited and breakfast was out of coffee both mornings I was there. Although the staff was not responsible for the hot water being out, they were aware and offered no solutions or discounts. While each of these issues separately would never be an issue, all of them at once was a little much. I feel like there should be some reimbursement of the stay for the hot water.
