Don’t judge a book by its cover. Great value!!
This accommodation provided exceptional value and comfort. A perfect example of why not to judge a book by the cover. It looks a bit dated as you approach the hotel. Recently renovated rooms offer tremendous comfort. Beds/pillows are fantastic. Very clean. Breakfast was typical for this type of accomodation and was more than adequate to start your day. Plenty of parking and safe. A short 10 to 15 minute drive to Parliament Hill. Exercise room offered sufficient equipment. Overall, great stay. Thanks for everything.

No direct access from main street, have to drive around the block to get there. Good restaurant in walking distance but only one. Easy walk to shopping mall, however by car you need to go around the block. Good breakfast

Nice place
Friendly staff, recently renovated rooms with comfortable beds. Quite clean and modernized. Breakfast is pretty standard, a few hot items available and the usual other items. One negative would be the shower. Its the modern style with no door to close but due to the construction of it, water gets all over the floor. It also doesn't drain well and the water pools up to the top of the stall after just a few minutes. Overall though, a nice place at a good price. Location is fantastic, beside a large mall and many restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel is right across the street from the St. Laurent shopping centre which is a key local transport hub, so to travel around Ottawa from this point is easy to do once you figure out how to use the O-Train and numerous bus routes.

Senior Seniors on vacation
Very senior seniors staying so a walk in bath was requested and email response was all units have them. Upon arrival front desk seemed unaware of request. Took 3 tries to find correct floor plan. Housekeeping wasn’t even sure. Third try was success. In the evening no heat. Staff came up and couldn’t make work but gave extra bedding. Next morning maintenance solved issue. Breakfast good. Got 50% off first non heat night. No other issues. Staff kind.

Conveniently located
We have stayed here multiple times and it is only getting better. They have renovated rooms that are lovely. The room we had was spacious. There was a little table with 2 chairs which was nice to use when we had meals in the room. The breakfast buffet was decent with ample choice. There was even oat milk for the cereal. The microwave and fridge are great for longer stays. The coffee machine is nice to have also. There are so many dining and shopping options available nearby. The St. Laurent Mall is just across the road. For a stay in the east end of the city Welcominns is our number one choice.
