This is an office building that was gutted and converted into apartments, which have full kitchens, a living and dining area and a large bedroom. Furnishings are mid-century modern and sparse but comfortable, it's really all you need. If I was staying in central Ottawa for an extended period of time I would definitely stay here. According to my adult son, the mattress of the pullout couch in the living room is not great, he felt every spring - you are warned!

I’m not a fan of digital check-ins. I’ve been left outside w faulty codes in the past. Exercise w care. It’s convenient for the hotel not for me. Doing an online checkin verification process from Europe was painful. Time consuming and the customer service were of no use what do ever.

There were renovations underway and the “mild” paint smell in the lobby made it up to our room on the upper floors and was nauseating. We left a day early and the staff did not accommodate the change in itinerary as I had not booked directly. Also, the toilet did not always work - it would not refill the water in the upper basin without manual intervention.

Excellent stay. The hotel is clean and offers all the amenities you need. Easy to replenish supplies if needed. The fitness and games room were a bonus. Located in the heart of downtown within walking distance to parliament buildings, Ottawa River, Chateau Laurier, Byward Market, Rideau Center and lots of restaurants.

This low frills accommodation was perfect for my needs. Apartment style units, cleaned upon request, extra coffee/tea etc. for the early mornings available at a ‘help yourself’ stand. The separate living area really was perfect for winding down at the end of a long day, felt like home!

Location was awesome, it’s just behind the Lord Elgin so your literally a 5 minute walk to parliament. There is parking under the hotel although the garage is now owned by the hotel there is an elevator that takes you up to hotel lobby, it’s a little concealed so save yourself time ask front desk to show you were to get in. The staff are so helpful we arrived at 10am not expecting at all to be able to check in, we was just going to leave our luggage in the car but the front desk said no let’s see if we can get you into a room right away, which they did and we were so greatful, it’s always nice to get settled into you room before you go exploring. We had a one bedroom suite and it was wonderful, nice kitchen equipped with everything you need, everything was nice clean and the room was very spacious. Over all great hotel and would recommend to anyone

Very pricey for what you are getting. Teh AC was so loud that I didn’t sleep for 2 nights - and despite the jet engine noise- didn’t work very well so the trim was very hot - would not stay again
