Hotel was very clean & comfortable. Entry system was easy to use and no outside noise to keep me awake. Easy distance to transport and very central to sightseeing. Lots of restaurants close by & Tim Hortons a few steps away. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay for my weeklong conference. Everything was clean and tidy. The ensuite kitchen was very convenient and the balcony was an enjoyable addition to everything. Even used the open sitting area a few times. Check in was pretty simple and the common areas were nice. Location is downtown so everything is within walking distance. Despite this, I found that noise wasn't a problem. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Very well located. Modern. Highly clean. Reception lady highly helpful in assisting with registration for a 67 yrs old version 1.0 vs the 3.0 registration process. Parking at City Hall is approximately a 5-10 minutes walk.

Great location for business trip

I was in Ottawa for a week of meetings. This was a great location to be able to walk to all of my meetings. Only complaint is that street/construction noise was a bit bothersome (though Sonder provided earplugs beside the bed). Staff were friendly and efficient. It was clean and bed comfortable. Lots of dining options nearby.

Amazing!

This hotel was amazing! This was our second time staying at a Sonder hotel - we absolutely loved the first time and someone the second time was even better! Location was great, room was clean, we had a full kitchen (plates, cups, pots, pan, even a colander included!), bed/bedding was very comfortable and there were quite a few amenities on location (we didn't need them for our short trip but would be great for a loner trip). Honestly, we recommend Sonder to anyone travelling and this location was no exception.

The only thing I liked about it it had a buck that’s it. The place was disgusting. I spoke to the front desk and I told him what’s going on and I took pictures and I sent it to them. They offered me a late checkout and a 50 credit to Sonder Then I wasn’t satisfied with that. They offered me a $50 cash and when I wanted to go get that they told me at the front desk no we don’t give out cash so why would you offer me that in the beginning?

Sonder Arlo May 2025 long weekend

Floorboards had gaps, we slipped a few times (in our unit). The room cleanliness left a bit to be desired- the pull out couch had dirt, and dirty (stained sheets) on it. We had to put our own sheets on it. Washroom water- no regulator? Water ran ice cold, then hot, then ice cold again (lots of temperature fluctuation), with little warning. Laundry room- all washers and dryers will filled with the Sonder linens. Every one of them. So, when doing laundry, had to move the washed items to a dryer, AFTER removing the dried (or semi-dry) items from the dryer. This was at 8:30pm. Nobody attended to the wash from Sonder during this time (between 8:30pm-10:30pm on Saturday evening).

Quite disappointing. The room was fine (except the very old bath), but it was on the 4th floor in a dark hole - almost no natural light. There was no room service throughout the entire stay (a full week) and the gym was particularly spartan. I wish this site would offer real hotels and not these B & B copies.
