The pre checkin process was conviennent. However, upon arrival, the number pad to enter the property is broken and duct taped to the wall. It was not reading ever entry so eventually we knocked on the glass, and it took a while for staff to help buzz us in. We then asked them for parking recommendations which were not overly helpful. We were directed to park at city hall about a 10min walk from the property when there is parking less than a block around the corner. Room and Furnishings were modern, and in were good condition, yet not super clean. There was dark curly hair in the shower, sticky ring on the table, and area carpet had crumbs. Proximity to the parliament and location were fantastic.

Great for business travel. Extremely comfortable bed and I love the separate thermostat for the bedroom. Having a den to set up a workstation was also fantastic. The suites are really well laid out with good furniture and a logical set up. Would only recommend that Sonder invest in higher quality irons and ironing boards.

Rooms are perfect size for 1-2 people. Very cozy and clean. It’s my 3rd time staying here and I will be back again. 7 min walk to Rideau center and about 8 min walk to all the nice restaurants on Elgin street.

Overall Goid Stay

The only things I would note would be the exterior noise if traffic was louder than I expected. Perhaps with a door to bakcony and 2 windows ut is more orone to that. (I am a light sleeper). Even though there were alit if electrical plugs sometimes they were unaccessible due to furniture and mirrors. We carry power vars with iur laptops so we made it work.

I had a very restful 2 nights at Sonder Arlo. I arrived too early to check in, but I was able to do some work in the lounge, and then use the gym. By the time I was done in the gym, my room was ready (early check in) so I went straight up to have a shower. I really appreciated being able to check in when the room was ready, rather than being told that I still have to wait until 4pm. The kitchenette was great for making meals, and the bed was very comfortable. I do have a suggestion though: shower robes would be a great addition to the room, especially at the price point.

I had a lovely stay at Sonder Arlo in Ottawa. I thought it was excellent value. My room was well equipped with a kitchenette and a table so I could easily have some meals in. The location was ideal to walk around capital hill and there were plenty of restaurants close by.
