The rooms and property were very clean and tidy. Our kids had a good time visiting the pool. The hotel organized an egg hunt for all the visitors who had kids. Our kids had an especially fun time during the egg hunt. It is a very safe and kid friendly hotel and the staff are so friendly. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Ottawa and spend their time close to downtown. The price is very affordable and fair.

Honestly the best! I checked out of the dark and dated and very overpriced Fairmont Chateau Laurier and checked in the the Lird Elgin. I cannot recommend highly enough. This hotel has it all! Friendly and such helpful staff, clean, quiet modern rooms. Great walkable location. 5⭐️s!!! If you are visiting Ottawa.. this is the hotel to stay at! I will be back to Ottawa and 💯 will be booking my stays here at Lord Elgin.
