Fantastic room but there were issues

Elevators are out of the way and always packed and with lines. The breakfast was mediocre and it was a long wait. They ran out of coffee, glasses and forks.

We always love our stay here. The suites are big and well priced and the breakfast is really good too. They allows pets which is awesome. The pool is big and warm. Kitchen is useful and on site laundry too. Cons: Garage only has clearance for cars 5'9" and under. Beds are a little soft

The night stag was cold and un welcoming. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. However the daytime staff was extremely helpful and was helpful and accommodating. Jeremy at the front desk was exceptional and due his kindness I’m willing to give the hotel another chance !

Checking in was hard, I couldn't understand the parking and the desk lady was rude and never ended up telling me how to use the parking pass properly, the parking gentleman did, once I was locked out with my kids. Three of the breakfast staff was so ignorant, one lady snapped at this poor little girl when she ask, 'when you get a sec, there is no cereal left, please '. The lady response was, don't you see how busy we are, your going to have to wait, I can't do it all Unfortunately the best part about our stay was the room and other guests helped us more than most staff. The best staff was the evening staff, so friendly. The morning staff....horrible!

Very good stay with young toddler. Great breakfast, clean and spacious suites, convenient location with 10 minute walk to Parliament Hill and 15 minutes to Rideau. LRT station was also just across street.

Hilton Garden Suites Ottawa

I stopped in for two nights while in business with the U of Ottawa. The Hilton brand lived up to its solid reputation once again. The clerk handling my check in was professional, attentive and most of all, approachable. Our suite was clean, and the kitchenette and bathroom was well stocked with the needed items. It was perfect. Our meal in the Tulip lounge was average at best. Our server at rhe bar was top notch, polite and attentive. Sorry didbt get her name though. My steak wasn't trhe med rare that I asked for, more rare than anything. The seasoning on the frites was overpowering and one dimensional, and soggy. My wifes meal was splended and a unique take on Filipino Pata. A solid 4 out of 5 stars !

Location was very nice. Central to everything youd need. Overnight parking available - expensive but felt safe leaving the car there. If you have a large vehicle the height within the garage entrance/ exit may be an issue. Buffet was average at best. Didn’t really have much of a variety/ change throughout the stay. Restaurant in the hotel was great. Rooms were spacious and quiet. Great view from the upper floors

The breakfast was amazing options for every culture. Swastika was a sweet kind person in the dinning hall she helped me to my room with my breakfast for my sleeping son. I found the hotel family friendly and safe for children. The staff are all friendly and always smiling and treat guest fantastic! Highly recommend would stay again and again !
