Had to switch rooms
The front desk employee was great to help me through changing rooms twice. The first room was above the pool and very loud. Switched to another room which had a very loud heater and the security latch on door was broken. Switched yet again and while I could hear the people above, I dealt with it.

Staff is wonderful here! Mayra went out of her way to accommodate us with our granddaughter to make our stay perfect. Dia was super friendly at check in as well. Great breakfast too. We will be staying here our next trip to Yorkville. Never had a better staff anywhere!

Pool water and pool area was very cold. Room door had a huge gap around entire thing letting tons of light in.
A perfect place to stay . Quiet and the service was wonderful! Front desk clerks were so helpful and friendly. Pool was just right and the breakfast was amazing . My room was clean I had no issues. Will for sure stay here again.
The room that was advertised and that I paid for was supposed to include a hot tub. I was not notified until after my check in that the rooms no longer had them.
We traveled for a celebration of life and have used this hotel many times in the past. The way that us as guests were treated was ridiculous. We had rented between 8-10 rooms because we all wanted to stay at the same hotel but were told that we couldnt hang out in the lounge area bc there were too many of us (again mostly hotel guests). We had done this every other time so we asked why we werent being allowed to this time and were told we couldnt talk to management because they werent working that night and they wouldnt bother them with our issue. After requesting to talk to the manager again (never got to), the police were called on us. They then made claims to the police that they received complaints at breakfast about us congregating- clearly a lie because we didnt all eat at the same time and again everyone that did eat the breakfast, were paying hotel guests. We were told to go to our rooms, leave, or we would be trespassed. As most of us were staying at least 1 more night, we left and went elsewhere but i highly do not recommend this establishment and will not be back. The pool was also grimy on the bottom and needed to be cleaned.
Several places to eat and go visit really close to hotel. The only thing I didn't care for was the snack stand doesn't accept cash I was there on a business trip and couldn't charge food to room due to using a company credit card. But other than that great place to stay would stay again.
The second shift receptionist was very rude. Every year we come to Illinois and a bunch of other family members come in as well. We book 10/12 rooms and have always used the common area to meet and play cards/games etc. They would not allow that this time wanted us to rent a conference room. The 2nd night we were standing commons are trying to figure out where we could go and the cops were called on us. Now..if we were all to come down for breakfast at once would we be told we couldn’t? It was highly disappointing because all of us have never had a problem and the hotel was always up to par. Now we will be staying somewhere else.
We were treated with so much disrespect from the front desk. We were trying to use the front area to visit with other guests that were also staying there and they said we couldn't do that. They even called the police because we had open alcohol (beer bottles) but they never mentioned that to us. We have stayed there many times in the last few years but will now be staying elsewhere. When i checked out this morning the lady at the desk didn't say a word. No goodbye, have a good day, nothing.
