The rooms are good size so as the bathroom and clean. Convenient location close to the airport. However, I had a terrible experience after I already checked in late due to my late flight. I went to bed shortly after around midnight. Unfortunately, they mistakenly issued my room to another guest that was trying to get in my room around 4:45am. It was a pretty scary experience. First of all how the system was even able to activate a card to another customer for the room that was already occupied? Another thing because I checked in so late around 11:30pm and the other customer arrived around 4:30am do the same staff at the front desk didn’t remember that they just checked someone else to that specific room? Anyway not a fun situation for a woman solo traveller. Also I’m not happy with how the situation was handled by the hotel either. They just said sorry. After putting a formal complaint I just received an apology email.

One of the biggest reasons we picked this hotel was to go swimming with our granddaughter and the pool was closed the entire time we were there. Not much fun explaining to a young child who can see the pool why they can’t go swimming in it.

Air Conditioning not working during cold night. The room (and overall the hotel) is overheated. Windows can not be open Bath overflow is mounted in reversed. Price was good and overall it was a nice stay for 4 nights. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was ample for continental offerings. Parking was free and to the side of the building. We had a room that was in front of the 24 hours Tim Horton's drive through in front of the hotel so lights would come through the window through the night so we had to block it out. The room heater didn't work, it got stuck and was quite warm. We asked at the front desk and they suggested turning the heat off and putting the fan on in the bathroom which didn't really work all that well. The fan in the bathroom ceiling rattled visibly and we were afraid it might fall off but thankfully didn't. The hotel itself was quite warm. The elevator rattled as well. The bathroom tiles needed some regrouting so some upgrades are needed for this place. They offered cider near the check-in which was a nice touch but the cannister seemed to get stuck and many people walked away without getting any cider as there was a trick to it, we learned after waiting for the staff to help. Other than that the room was quiet and reasonably central. Would recommend it for those on a budget as it was good value for the money.

Revamp suggested
Needed to change the sheet on one bed as what appeared to be small blood stains, a new sheet was provided when I asked to change it myself. The sofa chairs in the foyer needs a steam cleaning on the arms, they appeared oily and stained. The room smelled musty probably from the old carpeting. A school of teenagers running and loud down the halls at 11:30 disturbed my grandchild.

Highly Doubt
Had a difficult time trying to change one of two rooms from 2 n to 1n! Finally had it arranged but still had difficulty finding a 3rd room I booked! When we and my daughter in law walked off of the elevator, I found that we had the same room assigned! Now her key opened the door, mine didn't. Plus a sheet was stained with blood, we changed it ourselves. We later heard, and seen, that there were about 50 teenagers staying. My niece and D.I.L. used the pool. The water was milky white, seemed like it wasn't filtered or maintained. The steps couldn't be seen it was not clear. Of course the children wanted to jump in the water anyways. No hot breakfast, disappointed there. Thankfully Tim's is next door! I recommened that the dining room furniture and lounge chairs be steam cleaned. I highly doubt that I will stay again.
