I am not a smoker but the friend with me was.Your designated smoking area is disgusting.Right beside the garbage and dog poop bin without shelter or chair.Shameful!!!

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in walking distance of various site seeing opportunities. The rooms are equipped with a full kitchen so making meals is possible. Grocery stores are close. The hot tub jets were not working nor was the ice machine on the 6th floor. But overall the stay was great and very comfortable.

Although the hotel is somewhat dated, it was spotless!!! I was very impressed. We were able to walk to the Byward Market from the hotel which was a bonus. I would definitely stay there again!!

1.At first it was shown parking included and at the time check in it was not included. Paid extra cost for parking. 2. Depositing through credit card was unexpected whereas paid full through expedia application. 3. Returning of deposit still not received and it was not expected as it was paid for trip in advance. 4. Hotel management guidance for parking and going nback to hotel room was not briefed it was difficult to reach to the hotel rooms at first.

it was my first and last time at this place! extremely poor management and service and not worth to stay! I booked 2 rooms from Oct 25 to 27. The place looks very old. queen bed so small that 2 people could not fit in it. So I asked them to give me sheets and blanket to use sofa bed which was extremely uncomfortable and was making noise, i had feeling it was falling apart. plus i have the pictures of the blanket and pillow they gave me which was not actual blanket and I was cold during night. on the second day i requested to bring normal blanket to the room. Also I have the picture that there was someone's hair on one of the twin beds. I was trying to talk to the manager during two days but could not reach her! concierge said he would forward my issue to the management and i found out he made a note in a system, that i wanted to talk to the manager that's all, nothing changed! I asked them to give me free parking at least an an apology for the rooms and service we got when i boked 2 rooms and spent more than $1000 and only needed one parking spot but of course they refused! I left voice mails to manager called JINA and asked her to call me back but no-one has reached me out even to talk. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT< DIRTY SMALL UNFOMFORTABLE BEDS! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! YOUR SERVICE IS JUST SHAME!

Location was good & having a pool, whirlpool & sauna were good, especially the sauna. However in the pool area the windows to outside are not covered so everyone outside can see you. No help with luggage arriving, checking in & out & leaving or when we had to change rooms due to little heat in our first room & TV not working.

a sauna was not advertised as a feature, but there was one. very short walk to the university of ottawa, which was why we were travelling. close to Parliament, and so many good dining choices around the corner we did not stay long enough to try them all!!!
