Not a 4* hotel
Cycling Holiday. Only hotel not to have bike storage, and a reception that delivered the message in a nonchalant ‘not my problem’ approach. No issue with not having storage, but definitely not 4* service and hotel highly overpriced. Restaurant good, but hotel lacks frills and is simply rooms off a staircase/lift. On this basis alone I would question its 4* status. More of a 2/3*. Shout out to local bike shop PLUM who stored for our bikes overnight.

Lovely quiet cosy hotel close to Kursaal and the beach, a short tram ride from the train station. Staff were very friendly, the bed was really comfortable, and the room quiet. Nice café downstairs for drinks and snacks too.

Superb room overlooking the square and very convenient for the tram stops to explore the coast. Nice cafe/bar downstairs and even a cosy library on the first floor.

Et helt greit hotell kort vei fra stranden. Rommet var nylig renovert, noe som trakk opp inntrykket. Cafeen i første etasjen hvor frokosten var er slitt og renholdet der var dårlig. Frokosten var grei, men lite utvalg.

Vraiment très bel hôtel, très bien restauré il y a peu semble-t-il. Salle de douche spacieuse et nickel ! Très bien situé , en face du Casino - Kursaal et proche du musée Ensor.

Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer mit Blick in den „Innenhof“, genauer gesagt auf eine weiße Wand. Naja, egal, sind ja nur zum Schlafen da… Das Bad hatte kein Fenster und auch keine Lüftung. Das Frühstück an sich war OK. Leider hat es aber teilweise 15 bis 30 min gedauert, bis leere Vorräte wieder aufgefüllt wurden. Dazu zählten auch z.B. Brötchen, OSaft oder Rührei. Wir werden beim nächsten Besuch in Ostende ganz sicher ein anderes Hotel ausprobieren.

Très bien à part le bruit, dû à l’emplacement de l’hôtel. Dommage qu’à ce prix il n’y ait ni chaussons, ni peignoir dans un 4 étoiles.
