Booked this hotel specifically so that I could watch aircraft. I was allocated a room on the 9th floor with fantastic view of the runway and departing aircraft. The room was twin room sole use but the size of it was almost like a suite with excellent facilities. Hotel is part of the airport complex a short walk from both the railway station and Terminal 1. Plenty of shops and restaurants within the airport inc convenience stores. Cannot fault the hotel at all.

The hotel is right outside terminal 1, and 2 min walk from JR railway. The room is spacious, bed is comfy. Great choice for us since our flight got in late, sweet stay and easy to get to Kyoto next morning.

It took me a while to find the hotel from the arrival area. Since the plane landed at night, the airport was pretty quiet, and all the stores and Information center were closed. Once I got to the hotel, there was a huge line of people waiting to check in. But other than that, the experience has been great. They gave me a bigger room than the one I reserved. The room is clean and quiet! That could be because of the day I'm staying (Monday night). The price is great on Hotels. com. Other sites were much more expensive. Overall, I'm very satisfied. The check-in staff were very courteous, and the process was quick. The bed is comfortable, although I couldn't sleep very well due to a jet lag.
