Was quiet and clean. Great views. Close to many dining options as well as shopping. Subway access front of hotel. Get the breakfast buffet complimentary worth it. Restaurant is a lttle pricey but good. All in all good experince. Would do it again.

Great hotel and location! The hotel was clean and elegant. The room was spacious with toiletries provided and replenished daily. The Namba station is right outside the hotel, and you can walk through the station to avoid the heat to get to Dotonbori.

The location was great. I will say that as someone who does enjoy meals in my room on occasion I was disappointed when they asked that you refrain from food delivery when the three restaurants in the hotel were all fairly pricey. The convenience of food delivery comes in handy when you are simply trying to relax.

Monterey is right next to a supermarket and underground shopping. It's a nice walk along the canal to the Glico Man sign on foot...about 15 minutes. Our room was upgraded and we had a big room with ample room for luggages. Their breakfast offered variety and plentiful. We went in April 2024.
