Overall, it’s okay and conveniently located within walking distance of the train station. The hotel has 40 floors and is very crowded, especially during check-in and check-out times. The elevators are often full, and despite having many, the wait can be quite long. The staff is fine, but I found it unusual that I had to go down to the lobby to pick up an air cleaner myself, as it’s usually provided in the rooms at most APA locations. It didn’t seem like they were very willing to assist with this matter.

Location is good, If you take airport limousine bus from Kansai airport, The hotel is 30 seconds walk from namba bus terminal. Large supermarket is 3 mins away, Namba station is 4 mins away. This hotel is nearly new hotel, so it is very clean. Only thing is that the room is very small (but typical size in Japan). Otherwise, very happy for this hotel. Will definitely recommend this hotel for small group of tourists.

This hotel is a brand new hotel opened in early December 2024. I stayed in mid December 2024 and would definitely stay again. The hotel is directly across from the OCAT bus terminal and JR Namba station, making it very convenient to go to/from Kansai airport and JR lines. There is a public bath/sauna and tubs, laundry facilities and 7/11 all located on Level 4. The Osaka-Namba metro station is about 5 mins walk and Dotonburi Street is about 15 mins walk from the hotel. I stayed in a standard room, which is small but this is the norm for Japan. The room had all amenities needed. Each floor also has a filtered water station so you can fill up your water bottle each day. Highly recommend this hotel given its newness and quiet location.

You can’t check in until 3pm!!!
It’s a nice hotel. I think they need to put water in the room because it’s freezing the second you step outside the door and walk down the hallways with a jug, makes me feel like I’m camping. Got charged an extra hour for not checking out at 10am yet nobody told me I had to. You can’t check in until 3pm and that’s my biggest gripe. Half the days gone?

Brand new hotel so rooms were clean. Rooms are extremely compact, No space to walk in the room, Very cramped. Luggage needs to be stored under the bed. Very small bathroom, smaller than a cruise room.

Brand new, so rooms were clean. Super small though. We ended up with a connecting room for 2 adults and one kid - that was nice because of the 2nd bathroom. We got a deal because we booked before it opened - could have chosen to stay a couple of more days at a higher price, but chose elsewhere instead. It’s fine - but the elevator situation is outrageous! Lines out the door. The automated checkin process was not smooth and neither was the baggage storage. It all worked out in the end, and maybe they’re kinks that will work itself out over time (but it’s not like Apa hotels are new). Location is great - near shopping areas and metro stations. You can get anywhere easily. There is a rooftop pool and hot tub, but it’s closed in the winter. There’s also an onsen - with a convenient busyness status on your tv. If you want to sacrifice some space for newer building and some nice amenities, this will work out fine.

We had a great stay, near JR and metro stations and plenty of restaurants to eat at. Breakfast buffet had lots of options and was delicious. My only complaint is if your not used to japanese style mattresses and pillows the beds were very uncomfortable.

Innovative Concept that doesn't work
Highlights: The hotel was new/clean and very close(walking distance) to the bus terminal to the airport. Convenient 7/11 on the 4th floor in the building. Lowlights: The rooms were extremely tight (incl. washroom) but perhaps par for the course, the lobby extremely tight and check-in process chaotic. Checkout was at 10am (30+ floors of 50+ rooms per floor) could not get an elevator during this time. Lobby resembled Grand Central Station during rush hour with tonnes of people lining up to drop luggages off for storage. Lobby too small for the capacity of the hotel. Could never get the temperature quite right despite having access to the thermostat. Room service would hang a bag of fresh towels and amenities on your door if you chose not to have your room cleaned (which was designed to make for an efficient process but lots of waste because it provided you with stuff that was not required (opposite effect of eco-friendly). The hallways were exposed to the outdoor air which makes sense as they save on heating and cooling common space but it felt like staying at a motel, not good, not bad but weird. Verdict: Would not stay there again.
