A great place right on Daytona Beach. Superb view of the ocean. Staff members were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and fresh and the balcony provided an excellent view of the ocean. Food superb. The restaurant serves an array of seafood and other dishes

Check in was a headache. Alynn was my receptionist and made for a poor experience. She canceled my reservation prior to arrival, without calling to advise me, she double charged me for valet after I clearly explained this to her in great detail, she gave me keys with no room number, had an attitude with me like I inconvenienced her. Not a good experience, as we were there to tour the property for a future corporate event.

I liked the newness and cleanliness of the property. Staff was good, but inexperienced because of the newness of the hotel. I did not like there was no option to self-park and the overnight valet was $40 tax tip. That's an automatic $50 on the rate, plus the $30 resort fee, which I guess was supposed to be rebated by a $30 credit. Not a great deal. I did not like at all that I reserved in advance on Expedia, 2 breakfasts included. It was clearly stated on the confirmation, but the hotel did not agree even looking at the confirmation. Strange. They ultimately provided a voucher for 2 free breakfasts, which sounded okay, but after we ate and received the bill, the server pointed out that only some of the breakfast options were included in the voucher. Really? Strangely there was a slight difference (inclusion of potatoes) between the included option and the one we were charged $15 for plus $8 for coffee even though there was a carafe with free coffee outside the restaurant door. Strange. I don't like surprise fees when I check out. I really don't like that.

Very nice new Hotel in Daytona Beach, Costly in the services they provide and I imagine they go to a target of customers where they want to focus. Breakfast with expensive prices and food is not impressive, also The only option to park is with valet parking and the parking lot is left in a building one block from the hotel, whenever you need to use your vehicle it has to be through valet parking service at $40 a day. Very nice pool area and nice pool bar with limited drinks options. We'll be back soon after all these holidays.
