I first stayed here 35 years ago. Came 2025 for Daytona 500. We had a third floor oceanview room. Room was surprisingly clean and in good repair with one exception. Bottom couple inches of the bathroom door was missing. Made a nice night light. Set back from ocean but view from the balcony was pretty good. Pool was nice & clean. Beds were decently comfortable. We brought our own sheets & pillows, but didnt feel the need to use them. That a big positive. Breakfast room is closed so there are some items in the office lobby to get you through the day. Workable, but it was there. Ice machine is out of the main building across the parking lot. I'd stay here again. Staff were nice on multiple shifts. Decent frig & microwave. Ice bucket stayed frozen in the frig. Was nice to see a rainfall showerhead instead of the usual wall mount. There are no USB plugs anywhere so bring extra phone chargers. Its in good shape for a beach hotel. 3 stars . Good stay if you can fill in the missing items.

Review

The reason I rated 3 stars is because it was breakfast included and the only thing they had for breakfast was mini muffins and apple and oranges 🙄 that was very disappointing. But I paid about 150$ for a suit was not bad but my ocean view did not have a balcony lol. Also the lights at night are extremely deemed so have to be careful when you walk to the pool area and parking lot. But the staff was good. Good communication. The only thing was not clean was the foldout sofa, when we open crumbs came out.

This property is terrible. No sign outside to identify it! The room smelled horrible there was a dehumidifier in the room. Bugs in bed and in room! The free breakfast was terrible! When I said something to the girl at desk that there were bugs in the room and in the bed she just shrugged her shoulders! Really! Nasty! I wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy! Not even worth a penny a night!

Week in hell!

Room was not very clean for starts, freezer had rusty wire shelf in it, bathroom door had hole punched threw it, hairs on sheets in one bed,charged us a 30.00 a day fee for a 9 lb. Chiwauwau plus tax. Never gave us extra towels as we were told they already had to many out Never cleaned our room until I asked them to put new sheets on. Brought a small grill was cooking brats on balcony and told we had to stop when we tried to ask why, we were told to shut your mouth by owner. I would highly recommend you spend your money elsewhere, the only thing nice about this place was the ocean view and there was still about a block before you actually reached the beach, no security locks on doors. Overall it was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. I'll never go there again

Nice view of the ocean!

We only stayed one night and it was a good night’s sleep. There’s no signs on the outside so I did have to turn around but the views are amazing and the hotel is decent. Full-size fridge would be good for a longer stay. Microwave was small. Nice shower water pressure but the shower is directly over the center of the tub. Trying to avoid getting my hair wet was tough. We would stay again.

You can tell that they're trying to upgrade the property little by little but its weird how they fix somethings and leave others. Example, shower was really nice but the rest of the bathroom was old. Why have a kitchen with stove if nothing to cook with? Not going to pack pots and pans on the plane. Heat didn't work- and normally that's fine for Florida but I was there when it was freezing!! Door lock was just a security chain. I was here on business and glad I brought my husband. I

This is our second time staying at the hotel and we really enjoy it. It’s nothing extravagant but it has everything you could need and it’s right on the beach. The staff is pleasant and helpful. We will definitely stay there again
