Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa Universal Studios Area offers 1990 accommodations with DVD players and safes. Accommodations offer separate sitting areas. Pillowtop beds feature premium bedding. The toilet didn’t work. The tank wouldn’t hold any water and would just run. I had to fill the ice buckets with water to flush the toilet. Also the microwave in the room was broken. The door wouldn’t close so the light remained on and wouldn’t allow it to be used.

Property charged me $43.67 for room service that I never ordered. They were very rude and have made an assumption that I could be lying to them. They claim they are making a search and review to see if it was me who ordered the room service. I never ate there once. I was always at nice restaurants or at theme parks. I used this place to sleep get up and go. This place A/C sucked!

It’s such a huge property it’s easy to get lost. However for the price, it more than makes up for any negatives. In the middle of everything with large condo spaces - it’s a great deal

Besides the neighbors being a little loud in the morning, it was perfect. Not much you can do about the noise because it’s their vacation too so no big deal. But the hotel was amazing. The pools were all clean and had good temperatures as well. And it was not too far away from any attractions nearby. There was also a convenient walmart just down the road and lots of food options from cheap to expensive just further down. 10/10 experience.

Room we stayed in was very dated and right next to the elevator which made all sorts of fun sounds at night. Our dishwasher broke the second night of a seven night stay and they never got around to fixing it. Also when you ask for towels you need to do it a couple of times and it stills takes an hour to get them.

Pros: Clean, beautiful grounds. There are pools throughout the property, and food/store options available onsite. Beds were comfortable. Nice patios. Able to get bus to Universal for free. Cons: Check in was awful. Took close to 1 hour. There is a shuttle that can take you from your building to the front as it's a long walk. However, we mostly had to walk because the shuttle was either parked up front or MIA. The property and rooms are dated. Plugs/outlets in the room were few and we had two just not even work in our room. The waterpark was fine, but requires additional paid entry for non-members. Pools on property are just open swimming..no attendants.

We stayed in a one bedroom and it was terrible. There was nowhere to put our luggage. There was a gross broom, mop, and plunger in the room as if we were time share guests who would be cleaning ourselves. The shower door didn’t seal, so anytime the shower was used it flooded the bathroom floor. The toilet seat was broken and there was a screw sticking out of the bathroom pocket door which caused it to get stuck and not close. Anytime we called for assistance or concerns they were not helpful. If you’re looking for a vacation hotel stay, skip this one.

It is a nice place but our room was so outdated , sliddibg door was stuck , blinds were falling offs, bathroon door didnt lock , toilet made a lot of noise and got stuck when flashing. Starburcks worker were so rude. Front office were nice and they guy whintook us to our room was super nice and helpful.

Westgate Lake is one of my favorite property to stay at Orlando. The place is very nice and a lot of activities to do on the property. I loved the balcony and the view of the water. I will definitely come back!
