After a remodel, little changed here. There are no USB charging plugs in the room. Shower controls did not work properly and dripped all not. Wster was lukewarm at bedt. Floors and walls were dirty. No food option at night, no convenience shop. Pool bar was closed by 9 PM.

We do not recommend staying at The Point. We stayed in March 2024. First, there were several issues in our room. The phone was broken so we had to use our own phone to call the front desk. This was a several minute process to get connected going through the phone tree. The TV seemed liked it was from the year 2000. Don’t plan to use it because it will leave you feeling nauseated. The TV displayed the picture as curved making it impossible to watch. Most channels came in grainy. We asked the staff to check out our phone and TV and they looked at them but said they were not fixable! The pillows were absolutely horrible. They were lumpy and hard. Obviously, this did not lead to getting a good nights sleep, which is important on vacation. We asked for additional pillows and they said no! They said they had no other pillows. The pool area was alright, but we couldn’t stay out there long because it smelt like sewage! Our other complaints were there was a sink in our room yet they provided no dish soap. There were only a few towels in our room. The elavators were very slow and creaky elevators. Our bathroom door didn’t latch. The shower faucet leaked. The outside doors wouldn’t open with keys. Oh and to top it off, once we got home and I saw the charges on my credit card I realized they overcharged me for resort fees. When I called to ask about this, they said they were misstated on the invoice I agreed to. Stay somewhere else so you can actually enjoy your vacation.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY I paid 533 for 3 nights and the room was nasty and had roaches the pillows were molded the hot tub was dirty with foot print stains RESORT fees is a scam it’s NOTHING to do at this resort the pool and jacuzzi was dirty the pool table was broken and they charge u 1.50 to play on top of the resort fees what a joke the rooms didn’t even have a broom no ice machine the hut by the pool that sold food and drinks most of the food they didn’t have and the drinks were weak and a waste of money i would NEVER revisit this resort it’s not worth the money and definitely should not be paying resort fees it’s NOTHING TO DO THERE and i felt unsafe in the halls it was no security cameras

Our original room wasn't cleaned at all after previous guests. There was dirty stuff in the room and leaking toilet, so on the floor in the bathroom it was a lot of water. When we came to the front desk they offered us different room, but when we came to the room we found a lot of hair and stains on the bed sheets, the floor was so dirty. It looks like the floor wasn't swept for a long time. So it was just disgusting to be there. When we asked the lady on the front desk to clean our room and show her all the pictures, she got angry and asked us to leave the property. They shouldn't treat their guests this way. Do not recommend it to anyone.

It was in awful shape. The beds are on rollers and very uncomfortable.everything is cheap. You could smell weed in the hallways and there were empty beer cans in the hallway. So gross.
