The beds are comfortable, the room assigned to us is nice and clean. The keys provided by front desk does not work to open the gym. Re-issued once in the evening and again the following morning. Very inconvenient going back and forth multiple times from the reception desk to the gym and finally able to get inside the gym by waiting for a staff to open the door.

I have stayed at this location more than 7 times and never did I receive the awful customer service that I received at this stay. They upgraded my room which from a 2 to a 3 bedroom. I’m thinking everything is going to be fine. Well none of the tvs in the room worked. Called guest services 3 times the first night but no one showed. The next morning someone showed but the tv in the master was completely shot and I was told by the maintenance guy that they couldn’t replace it. No one from management called to offer a change of room, not even an apology for the situation.On the 2nd night I called housekeeping because we didn’t receive fresh towels and I was told by an employee that they are an eco friendly hotel and don’t give towels and wash cloths. I was told that I must wash my own towels for reuse but I paid $50 a day for a resort fee. Strange right. Went down to the front desk on my 3rd day of stay to speak with a manager and spoke with a nice manager named Bryan. He apologized for everything and stated that he had no clue any of this was happening. He did what he could to accommodate us and because of him I may give them another shot. But honestly the customer service has really changed at this resort and the fact that they charge for every little thing I expected better. Proceed at your own risk

Room was clean and exactly as pictured online. I didn’t like how the room was so dark, I had a first floor room, I didn’t pay extra for the “superior room”, in hindsight I should’ve, we had a large bush outside our patio that allowed no sunlight or view (I guess for privacy). We utilized the washer and dryer which worked great. Finding the room was difficult, we even asked an employee who got lost trying to find it too, but found it eventually. We had our own car so we didn’t use the transportation services. The pool looked nice and clean. We stayed over by the water park area which was great, the water was very cold though which was hard to get used to, definitely not heated as advertised. There was a bar there which was nice & convenient. The property was clean and maintained. I suggest ordering things needed for the room at the nearby Walmart or target. We stayed here for our trip to Disney which was maybe a 15/20 min drive to the parks. Overall, I would recommend this resort but pay extra for the better view, it was a bit depressing being it was so dark in the room.

Decided to try a Waterpark resort for our 3yo
Our son has special needs but gets very excited by all things wet: pools, splash pads, bath time, etc. So we chose The Grove over the Great Wolf Lodge since it’s closer. I was concerned a few days before our stay when a cold front started to come through. So on the last day I could cancel without penalty, I called and the staff member assured me that everything is kept at 83 degrees all day. I kept my reservation. I shouldn’t have. All the pools and most of the waterpark were not heated at all. The only part even slightly warmed was the lazy river and big kid slides that my son was not tall enough to ride. The toddler splash zone was so cold that my kids lips were blue and he was shaking within minutes. Also, even though our booking stated we were in The Grove when I arrived for check-in, we were told that we were actually in their newer building The Terraces. The desk agent acted like this was an upgrade. Terraces is further back and not attached to all the resort amenities like the Grove is. We had to either walk about a half mile to the Grove, drive, or request a bellman to drive us. Also the bar and restaurant in the Terraces were not open. While the hotel is only a couple months old, there was a cockroach in our bathroom, the decor was very bland, and furniture very cheap. At checkout, I was expecting the desk agent to ask how our stay was so I could over feedback, but instead he did not say hi or make eye contact, and pointed at a box to drop the keycards.

Water park was good for my kid but the drinks were pricy and they closed the bar early. Bug resort so depending where your room is could be a lot of walking. Only 1 restaurant on site with limited menu. Great location to Disney parks, very close. Overall good just would go elsewhere next time.

If negative stars were an option, I’d give them to this place. The staff was rude and unhelpful, especially when I asked for a breakdown of the charges. I booked and paid through Expedia, thinking it covered the water park and hotel stay, with only parking to pay for on-site. However, that wasn’t the case, and no clear explanation was provided. The room itself was disappointing—no coffee like other hotels, no extra blankets, and it was under 50 degrees, so we were freezing. When I requested a blanket, they brought only one, despite there being three of us in the room. The staff’s attitude and lack of basic hospitality were unacceptable. Overall, a terrible experience.

The room was convienent once we figured out where it was, make sure to get detailed info from the staff. Was given the wrong room # and looked forever only to find out it was the wrong room number the entire time that didn't exist. The place is a little like a maze. The room however was comfortable and clean and without any issue. We liked the space of two rooms a stove and full size fridge. The washer and dryer allowed us to do laundry as we went so we didn't have to do any when we got home. the bad things were one chair was rigged and broken at the dining table and the shower was clogged and held a lot of water when showering in the master bedroom. Besides that we had a good stay. The place was nice.

Potential is the word. The property has potential but some areas need to be addressed. We stayed in a 2 bedroom room. The room itself was big, with a bathroom in each bedroom and comfortable beds. The furniture needs major updating. All were scuffed with need of repair. The dining table had a large piece missing. There were no coffee mugs/cups but they provided a Keurig. Don’t understand that…There was a full kitchen but only a 6” pan and large pot. Hmmmm. Cooking breakfast in the mornings was a little tough with only a pan and a pot. There was a strong smell of pot/weed often whenever I would go out on the balcony. Seems some guests would go to the balcony to indulge. We stay for 8 nights and the resort’s literature said they would refresh towels after 3 days and entire room after 5 days. We had to call them to do both otherwise it wouldn’t have been done. The water park was nice though. 2 slides, a lazy river, a large pool, and a kids water park were all in good condition and good vibe. We made the best of it. Though I did call Expedia for options of changing hotels. Expedia said they would contact hotel and get back to me within 72hrs. Still waiting for the call from Expedia. This can be a really great place to stay but they need to address these areas.

We stayed in the terrace part. Just opened a few months ago. The grove hotel needs to update there pool chairs some where torn. Need to update some of there areas. Other than that very nice. They need to heat the terrace pool.

The water at the water park is dirty and smells. There was 2 rolls of toilet paper in a 3 bedroom condo for an entire week. We got 3 bath towels in a 3 bedroom condo. Maintenance came into our room at 7:30am uninvited. The TVs didn’t work, we asked for them to be fixed for 6 hours before someone actually came up. The shuttle to Disney doesn’t leave until 9:30 and some Disney parks open at 8. The shuttle for universal leaves at 7am and universal doesn’t open until 9:30. Just a poor experience all around. I would hardly call this a “resort”.

Its nice place, staff so nice but receptionist bad never fix the tv on room. And never received Vip amenities. But is good place for stay. Just I see dogs there and someone told me not accept dogs when I asking

Property ws convenient for our trip and attractive for our children but upon checking in, our room wasnt cleaned properly. There was blood on the toilet in master bedroom, a few toiletries were not restocked. The washer was dirty. Cabinets were not clean and the fliirs were dirty. We waited almost an hour for housekeeping to rectify the issues. Our waterpark day was ruined due to a front desk employee referring us to a Publix an hour away to order our son's birthday cake upon reserving, so the cabana we bought, we werent able to enjoy due to the near 2 hour round trip to Publix when there was a Publix 5 min away from the resort. They did refund the cabana cost. We were offered 3 free future nights at no cost that we never received via email and they also never returned our security deposit.
