They clearly maintained the outside in a wonderful way. A lot of focus on the resort maintenance on the outside of the buildings. It’s very beautiful a lot of really cool outdoor options. My biggest issue was the rooms themselves weren’t in tiptop shape. The inside of the facility is kind of older and rundown. They charge you almost 100 bucks for a room service, which is absolutely nuts to me. The towels were dirty. The bed is uncomfortable. The couch is uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi is the worst I’ve ever experienced. You could upgrade to a paid subscription, but that’s ridiculous. Overall, not a place I would stay again.

They seemed to be very short staffed and disorganized. The resort was great but seemed to be poorly managed. The hotel room floors were filthy our feet were black in less than an hour and my husband had to clean the floor bc it was an additional fee for housekeeping. There’s a “shuttle” to go to different areas of the large property but this is poorly managed and they are zigzagging all over rather than a set circuit. They are said to be on some kind of schedule but they absolutely are not. There was no staff by the pools, there was an unattended (maybe) 8 year old who pushed my 1.5 year old in the shallow end of the pool and no one to be seen, we said something to the hotel and they just said that children are not supposed to be unattended… thanks. A lot of money for what you get back and most of the dining closes early. Probably won’t be going back as there are more high end well managed resorts at similar price points.

Could be top-notch with small changes. We felt they nickel-and-dimed in so many ways. When that’s the case, you better be at the top of your game! First, having to pay for towels if we needed them replaced is ridiculous. We enjoyed the water park, but had to get there before it opened to wait in line to get a seat (extra early for some with an umbrella). The shuttle/golf cart was great if you caught it but at times you had to wait quite a bit, plus felt obligated to tip each time. At the water park, the lazy river had trash in it at the start of the second day (no one cleaned it between hours!). Plus, we sat at the same spot from the day before and trash that was in the bushes right near the trash can was still there ( a large to-go container a raccoon had dragged out while we watched the evening before!). I was under the impression that once the kids took the Wave Runner lesson (which was great), that they could use it the rest of the day, however they only got their half hour ($35 each plus tip). We really did enjoy our time but hope they make some of these small changes to improve. We all had a lot of fun and enjoyed the pools and water park!

Very nice and spacious. Had very few flaws in the room and they we fixed upon request. The prices are a bit high in the main store. And couldn’t believe the prices at the water park. Those were outrageous. Pools and property always seemed clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is great because you can actually park on your floor. So shopping and just in general is a breeze. Check in and check out were very fast and easy. I read some bad reviews before we arrived and was a little nervous. I’m not sure what the complaints are about. Over all very nice and spacious property. Rooms are nice. Good place to stay. Could and should work on the pricing in the stores and dinning.

Brought family here for spring break vacation and we enjoyed our stay. Pros: beautiful grand entry lined with palm trees, modern suite with generous amount of space and screened in balcony, nice sized pools and waterpark, complimentary golf cart service to enjoy amenities at sister property, good customer service, good quality of food and drinks, and overall upkeep was decent. Some areas for improvement would be: food was overpriced, some furniture in lobby could be updated, some shades in rooms need to be replaced.

The Terraces was supposed to b vip but other than a private pool area there was nothing else special. Most of the dining options were available only at the main building. Staff services for important questions and amenities were located also in the main building. You could not speak to someone on the phone you had to got to the main building for help.
