From desk personnel doesn’t even look at your face when a situation presents. When checking in the keys didn’t work, front desk didn’t answer phones, had to leave my family out in the cold and come back to the front desk, the room was dirty with towels with blood, my kids were terrified. We had to wait 45 min to get another cottage. Highway noise all night. Management never contacted us and employees do not even look at your face, and get upset easily. Terrible. Terrible.

Cottage was cute however the overall accommodations were sub par. Kitchen wasn’t equipped- we had to buy basic kitchen utensils. The hot tub timer was broken and always running. It had a pull out couch with no additional sheets or bedding. Anytime there was an issue and we called it was a minimum 20 min wait. We were given two rolls of toilet paper for an entire week. Any maid service was at a cost. Cottages are VERY far from the main area and require a call and cost to the shuttle- however they don’t run past 10pm. Overall would not stay here again.

We loved the house. The size was great for two families (3 bedroom elite), as everyone had their own space. The pool/spa wouldn’t heat up and we had to ask repeatedly for someone to come help us. They never came. Luckily a neighbour was able to help us after we gave up waiting for maintenance staff. They are definitely short staffed everywhere. No one would answer when we called for bedding for the pull out, (we had 8 people), and had to eventually walk to the front to request a duvet for the kids after they finally answered and then only brought light sheets. Called and waited for BBQ propane for 24 hours and had to go to the front multiple times to request it. They did compensate us for these issues which was appreciated. The pool area was short staffed too. Waiters running around trying to help people and long lines at the bar. With more staff this place would be 5 stars as the pool area is amazing. I would definitely recommend it and hope the staffing issues get sorted as this has the potential to be a fabulous resort.

Not what I rented before in Margaritaville . The pic show hot tub or a bigger cottage. They should divide the description clear . Cottage or town home . Very disappointed but the townhouse was very clean

We checked in at 11pm. Upon entering the cottage, I discovered the lock on the front door was broken. It took me 20 minutes to get anyone on the phone. By 2am, the onsite maintenance staff decided it could not be repaired and the entire mechanism needed to be replaced. By 4am, they were able to secure the door. This caused us to miss our 9am engagement the next morning. The door was finally repaired by 4pm the next day. The manager on duty agreed to refund one night of our stay. Upon check out three days later we learned this refund had not been arranged and we wasted another hour of our lives getting our refund. On top of this, the floors were dirty in the cottage and the half bath toilet was dirty. And forget using the phone to get any type of service. You will wait at least 20 minutes to speak with anyone.

If you book through Expedia you do not get any VIP access. The 4 bedroom elite cottage with pool and hot tub was filthy. Floors were gross. Dust everywhere and garbage outside by pool. We were missing pans and spatulas. Pool and hot tub were cold. They give you two Rolls of toilet paper, two laundry detergent pods and one roll of toilet paper. We were very saddened by this Experience. We are owners at Orange lake across the street and I would rate that a much higher level. The gates are open all the time so anyone can get in.

The home that we rented was fully furnished and located right near the pool. Christmas was memorable for my family. We enjoyed our mini vacation. This has been the 4th house I have rented in Margaritaville. I had to do a little cleaning before settling in with family. Overall great spot for shopping, movies and dining out. I definitely will return real soon.

The property is clean, situated in a great location and overall very nice. The pool staff had no clue which pool Was heated, they searched our bags to make sure we didn’t bring any outside food or drink as if we were criminals. The front desk has no clue of what time events are. Property though is safe and clean, but front desk and personnel need better training, especially given they are at a higher price point than other resorts.
