This property is at an amazing location. So much to do around. Very friendly people, we received attention super fast when we needed. Only thing is that the room could be cleaned better, and that you can tell that on some areas the hotel needs some remodeling. But I will be choosing this hotel every time I need to stay in the area. Price and location are a great combination.

Bathrooms could be cleaner.
I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom in our room. The magnifying mirror was gross and there was hair on the countertop. The location was convenient to eateries and the mall is directly attached to the hotel. There's a Starbucks and Chick-Fil-A in the hotel. The Uber/Lyft pickup area was a walk from the hotel. That was probably my biggest grievance as I used Lyft for my entire stay and paid the same as everyone else but couldn't be dropped off at the roundabout.

Stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping never ever came to our room. When the staff person texted me the first day I told them and they didn’t respond until the next day and they said they would send someone right away. No one came. Our iron was broken and I called the front desk and said we needed an iron right away as we were getting dressed. Front desk said they would call housekeeping and send one up right away. We left our room 40 minutes later and no one had brought an iron. When we came back 5 hours later there was an iron at the door…a little too late. As I was taught in the customer service industry you under promise and over deliver. Apparently the staff of The Florida Hotel has it backwards.
