Well, it's their policy, no early check in before 4 pm. Yeah, even if it's raining outside and because they were having a Christmas party, we couldn't even come in the lobby to get out of the rain. So we had to go wait down the road somewhere else. When we finally got to check in to the room, the room was basically OK. Just kind of worn, which is typical for road side motels. Travelers passing through and Kissimmee is a tourist town with Disney and everything else right there, a lot of traffic but the roaches were the problem that I had. also I paid a $50 deposit and I couldn't get it back until after 9 am. and I think they set up that policy Because if you have to leave like, let's say for work or you just leave town. Let's say 6 in the morning. You're gonna lose that. And I've learned hardway not to give a deposit on my credit card. Because sometimes it takes some hotels over a week to return that money or if at all. So horrible policy 1 person working a window. And you had several women standing around drinking coffee chit-chat. And just not the best experience. And I didn't even attempt or continental breakfast. As the selection was very limited and didn't seem to be that appetizing. I will look for another hotel when i'm in area sorry econolodge.

Very unsanitary
The room was comfortable. Some of the staff was friendly others would stop talking mid sentence to me to speak to other staff members. The room was in dire need of a deep clean. The microwave and refrigerator were disgusting. There are boogers(some bloody) and smudges all over the bathroom walls and the shower floor had been poorly patched, I would sink into the floor when I stood on it. There are dirty footprints on the walls next to the bed and the coffee table legs are covered in black grime. There is mold on the ceiling. I know the room had been at least partially cleaned when I entered because it smelled like bleach. The fire alarm has no battery in it.

Everything was fine, the most inconvenient thing was the young man who attended to me at the beginning. I spoke with him that same day in the morning to confirm that the 2 suites I reserved were together or as close as possible. He told me that would be fine. And at the time of checking in he told me that it could not be possible because the motel was full and the only rooms available were the ones he was giving me at that moment. One was on the first floor at the end of the building and the other was on the second floor at the beginning of the building. 6 minutes after we entered the room, my mother arrived at the lobby and it was a young woman. My mother asked why the 2 rooms were separated if the room next to hers was unoccupied. The young woman very kindly asked her for her room number and confirmed that the room next to hers was indeed unoccupied and she made the change so that we could be together as I had initially asked the young man. This was happening all the time since my sister-in-law had reserved 2 rooms as well and in the morning when they arrived they gave her separate rooms just like they gave me at the beginning and there were enough rooms available which the employee didn't care about without taking into account that they were families with elderly people and even children who were going to have to be constantly moving from one end of the building to the other. The attention of that employee really lowers the quality of the motel.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From the jump my stay was not good. While waiting to get my room key the lady in front of me did not have to pay the full deposit because she told the guy she did not have enough and the guy told her no worries. Come my turn I asked the guy would I be able to get the same treatment as the lady before me as you did not charge her the full deposit amount he threaten to cancel my reservation if I did not pay the full deposit. I did let the manager know about this the following day but nothing was done. I also called corporate regarding the situation. From there no room service ever came to our room the full 3 nights 4 day stay I was there. I had to go to the office everyday to get my key fixed and get clean towels and sheets and ask for toilet paper. Our hot water did not work so maintenance was in the room for a while luckily he at least was able to fix that problem which was super important as I also had my one year old with me. From there the last day they came at 11 to the room to say it was time to check out. I informed them I was getting my things together and waiting on my ride that would arrive shortly I just did not want to have my one year waiting outside in the heat. She said that was fine but then when we finally left she informed me that I would be losing my deposit due to not leaving the room at exactly 11am. The overall stay was a terrible experience, the room was dirty and u could tell had not been cleaned. TERRIBLE!!!!!!
