Dated, no playground as advertised, needs TLC

We were surprised that the property was quite dated and not what I am used to when compared to other doubletree properties, and especially labeled as a Hilton product. The furniture and mattresses were very old and uncomfortable. Bathroom was original and very dated. There is also a playground listed in the Hotels.com ad, but there is no playground at this property.

HORRIBLE STAY/EXPERIENCE!! Below is a list of bad experiences we had throughout our two day stay. -our original room we were placed in was extremely dirty, stains all over the floor/carpet and furniture, ( I have pictures for reference ) a large crack that goes through half the shower and a moldy smell I did feel safe sleeping in for not just my health but for my one year old toddler especially! New room, had loud ringing noise coming from room (I have video for reference) , loud banging noise every time air conditioner turned on waking my baby, wife and I all night long, room phone did not work to call to get help, housekeeping was rude, room only had one bath towel, had to call on my phone to be on hold to get someone up to send us towels which took 45 minutes to get more towels for us all to shower finally. Took forever to find parking anywhere near our tower! Housekeeping knocked on our door at 9am and we said “no thank you” as our baby was still sleeping and check out is at 11am. She continued to shout through the door and question us anyway despite us saying no thank you and “do not disturb” sign being on door and ask if we plan to checkout today though? As if we needed to be up and leaving already! Waking our baby up ! All around HORRIFIC experience! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone !!! WANT A REFUND!

While the staff was helpful and attentive we experienced some unfortunate situations. We found two bugs during our 2 night stay. One of the first night on the floor of our room and the second on the bed. The room temperature is very humid and uncomfortable, unless you like hiking conditions. The soap in the bathtub was all out. We did ask for more and they did send up more bar soap. All in all, I would likely not stay again. Felt more like a motel than like a hotel.

In my personal opinion, The only thing that I did not like about the hotel is that they had way too many conventions in one day at the hotel. Which kind of made the hotel overcrowded? But yet it was still good. It was pretty much minutes away from everything.

Motel 6 disguised as a DoubleTree by Hilton. We were surprised by the affordabie price and convenience to the Convention Center only to be hit in the face by reality. The room was very dirty and jad zero updates...think 70's decor compete with an Archie Bunker chair which we were afraid to sit on becuase of the stains. After driving from Ohio all o wanted was a good night's sleep but that isnt possible here. Apparently tlits the hotle to book if you are 17-20years old and looking to party. I was awaken at least 10 times but loud teens at a party in room 709 3 doors down from our room. I asked them nicely to keep noise down which they ignore. I tried calling the fron desk and after no answer i got up and walked to lobby to ask desk to handle the situation. The guy on the desk was nice but had no sense of urgency. They eventually did send a security guard to ask the teens to keep it down which worked for about 30 mins. So ive been up all night prior to an early morning start working over olat the convention center. Unacceptable stay. I highly recommend avoiding this place.

The rooms are great, comfortable beds, clean room and sheets. The bathrooms, however, are terribly small, the drain did not work in the room I was in. It drained too slow so I'd end up showering in a small pool of water. Other than that! I love this place.

My only complaint was that there was no wifi available. When we told the front desk that there was no Wi-Fi signal, they gave us an excuse that there was too many people using the wifi. We explained there was literally no wifi signal to attach too so that was not the problem. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.
