New Orleans Road Trip

seems like I rate alot of the multiple places we stayed in with excellent reviews. but seriously, all your looking for is a quiet, clean place to stay. Between the friendliness of reception to the breakfast buffet this place was great. Comfy bed, soft sheets, large bathroom counter, water in the lobby, bedside clock (seem to be disappearing elsewhere). we stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the property behind, to walk our dog along. we used Ubur to Universal as the shuttle just wasn't that convenient. Recommend and will stay here again

Everything was excellent, from the reception, to the cafeteria, to the cleaning staff, they were all very friendly, the price was super reasonable, and the facilities were very clean. Thank you all, I recommend it.

The staff was excellent. They were very helpful during our stay. The breakfast options were good and was kept well stocked during the breakfast hours. The property needs some maintenance in rooms and around property. Rooms and public spaces were clean. Other than maintenance needs, the property was a great value with friendly staff. Other than the property itself, the shuttles to Universal studios was less than desirable. First come first serve, you must register at neighboring Holiday Inn. Only 4 drop off times in Am and 3 return times in PM. Troubles with getting on returning busses and busses not showing up. Busses are ran by Universal and not fault of properties for the poor service. If wanting to walk to/from Universal, it took about 25 minutes one way but is walkable with sidewalk access.

Good breakfast, the lady is very hard working and kept the food stocked up. The hotel is near the parks, convenient and close walking distance to transportation shuttle to Universal Studios. Overall, satisfied with my stay.

The hotel itself was very clean and quiet inside, and the customer service was outstanding. We had an issue with our room when we arrived. Once we informed the front desk of the issue, they immediately gave us a new room. The breakfast was great and no different from the usual hotel breakfast buffets, and even though crowded, they had everything stocked and ready. The area around the hotel was not the best. The hotel across the street looked like it was a long term rental hotel and we witnessed several shouting matches and a physical fight in the parking lot which made me feel a bit unsafe, especially after dark with my kids in tow. It’s very close to the universal parks which was very convenient. We probably wouldn’t stay here again, but it is not a bad place for the price, we just didn’t like the immediate area.

A short trip to the Orlando area. This hotel is clean, the staff is very nice, and it’s a mile from the entrance to Universal Studios. Some two queen bed rooms also have a pullout couch, allowing up to 6 people in the room. Breakfast is generally included in the room price as well. It is what you would expect. Bacon or sausage, waffle makers, cereal, yogurt, breads, and juices. A nice breakfast for the guests. If you aren’t worried about the hour early entrance to the parks or you have been to Orlando before, this Comfort Inn is an outstanding value as well as a great location.
