The rooms are decorated nicely, it has an upscale feeling. However, it seems like there are a lot of superfluous things that detract away from economically and creatively using the larger space that you get in the room. For example, it's not essential to have a whole kitchen layout without a stove to cook and there is a full size sink and full size refrigerator with enough counter space for a studio apartment. That space could be better used with the table and perhaps a chair or two to open up more space in the cluttered living room area. It also feels like the room could have been oriented differently instead of The standard hotel layout with the bed sideways as you walk in the room would have been nicer if the bed was actually pointing towards the view not only would that be a fresh perspective they would actually open up the flow of the room and you get to feel how large the room is without the ostentatious bed to have to walk around. Also, the layout at least for the Newport store is quite dis conjointed. To get to and from the spa ( pool, sauna, hot tub and workout room) you can't flowingly walk through the hotel you have to actually be out in the elements or at least experiencing the cold air and wind( Newport is windy frequently) not really great after you've just got out of a hot tub sauna or pool experience. The other thing I didn't care much for is that, the hot tub wasn't working and I didn't get prior notice. That's a big selling point for me.
