To be honest, for the price of this hotel, we feel we could’ve stayed in a much nicer place. Additionally, we saw it after we checked in for less than half the price per night. The staff was great, but the property just seemed rundown and we even had a half empty bottle of bourbon in our room when we checked in. It was pretty bad.

Last minute getaway to the beach.

Literally made a last minute booking for this hotel. We were given a room facing the beach on the third floor. Fortunately there is an elevator and we found the room to be very clean and airy. Bed was a king and very comfortable. WIFI was typical for a hotel. A little slow but got the job done. Good in room coffee and included breakfast was delightful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurants in walking distance to the property. Indoor pool, hot tub and dry sauna with plenty of towels. Enjoy your stay.

I was able to have a safe walk to the view of the ocean from the motel. Very nice area and was very pleased to have a ground floor room without asking when it was needed due to disability. Thank you for the awesome experience staying.

Location was fabulous and the room had air conditioning, which is not a given here in the northwestern part of the united states. Water was hot. Room had microwave and an ample supply of coffee. Would recommend.

Waves Hotel – Newport, OR Old bones, new paint. The room was clean, recently remodeled, and actually looked pretty good—until you hit the bathroom, where the caulking and fixtures looked like someone gave up halfway through. Great price, killer location near the beach, solid parking, and a nice pool. But if you’re hoping to sleep before 2 a.m., bring earplugs or a white noise machine.
