The staff was very accommodating, the first room didn't lock at all. They were right on putting me in a different room ( like minutes!). I chose this hotel because it had a restaurant, pool, hot tub.. Everything I wanted to enjoy wasn't available. Did get an email the day after I checked out stating all those amenities were not available. Again the staff was amazing but they really should change these things on their website.

This is a renamed Shilo Inn. Room was large and clean. Beds were ok. Toilet was very small and most critically, did not contain a bidet. It's 2024, every toilet in every hotel should be a bidet. TV was incredibly fiddly. When I turned it on, it was set to pick up what looked like over the air HDTV but the signal wasn't HD. So when I looked at the settings, it turned out to be a Firestick connected to the WIFI. When I checked the Amazon Prime settings, I noticed that the previous guests had forgotten to log out of their accounts so I had to log them out and reset the device before I could log in. Is that the experience this place wants the guests to have? Other than that, it's a very basic place to stay and at the price and in the location it's overpriced.

Property going thru renovation ! Pool and hot tub closed permanenlt,breakfast no longer offered. Booked king bed room,when we got there got queen room,they said all kings were sold out. Making me question using expedia for booking

Reasonable hotel in Tillamook
This was a one night stay on Oregon coast, the price is reasonable. Hotel is undergoing renovation, so the construction pounding started just after 8am. Our view was the flat roof above what used to be the pool area. We had a King bed, but no sleeping couch, as the reservation stated. Room was fairly clean, bathroom could be cleaner.

I chose this place because it offered breakfast, only to find out after booking they’re not serving breakfast currently, I guess due to renovations. Okay, no worries. Check-in took a long time, which I eventually realized was because multiple guests were trying to resolve various problems. The guests in front of me asked for a different room as their deadbolt didn’t work, and had to make at least 3 trips to the desk to get a new room and working key. When it was my turn to check in immediately after, the clerk tried to give me that same room with the broken lock, and suggested I wedge a chair under the door handle. She told me she thought that might be their only available room. When we asked her to check, she did give us another room but it had not been cleaned yet, so we had to go back down to the desk and get another room change. The room we finally got was good enough. One of the sinks didn’t work and the room was clean although the floors were gritty and dirty. The woman at the front desk didn’t seem particularly concerned or apologetic to us or other guests.

Need more parking. dont let cars park in movement areas stopped by at 230 room was still not ready at 415. Sink in 230 was not tightened down to counter and the faucet was difficult to turn on. Staff were nice, but it took 30 min. to find two rooms together. Seemed unaware of notes requesting this prior to arriving.

The hotel is older and rooms seem to be freshen up. New wood looking vinyl floors. Updated tv, furniture is still old. Rooms clean and smell fresh. Would like to see ubs plug to charge phones.

Unexpectedly charming
The room is so much cuter in person! It definitely gave romantic getaway vibes even though thats not what we booked it for, but it may be a reason we book again. The forest view out the window was so pretty. The king size bed & sofa were extremely comfortable. The sofa bed looked brand new and really made the room comfortable. Plenty of space, very clean, quiet, and secure. The property was well maintained and attached to a restaurant and gas station/food mart. Its undergoing renovations so no pool this time, but based on how nice they keep the property, I imagine itll be nice when it reopens, we'll definitely be back!
