I like the hotel. The view is nice. However, there was a bunch of long black hair on the bed upon arrival. Also, couldn’t shower before checking out because there was no hot water.

This hotel is in the middle of a remodel, which it needs. This was a spontaneous single night stay for us, and the price was very low as a result of the age and ongoing remodel. The staff were great. I'm sure when the remodel is done and the rooms are improved, the prices will go up but it will be a much nicer property. It certainly is perfectly situated in the heart of seaside on the prom. I also must remark as someone who travels a lot and always uses hotel pools, the pool at this hotel is immaculately clean. Strikingly clean. I have stayed at Hilton's with dirtier pools. Clearly the maintenance staff at this hotel care that the pool be clean, and I appreciate it!

Wonderful staff!!!

Amazing stay. They are in the middle of construction which is great. The elevator, wow takes forever!! But room was great, view was amazing, and the staff are absolutely fantastic!!! Can’t wait to come back!

I had a pleasant stay. My room had a kitchen, fireplace, and ocean view balcony. The staff were helpful, providing clean towels and toiletries daily and giving dining tips. The pool and hot tub were clean, and Mo’s Seafood Restaurant was conveniently on the first floor. I highly recommend this hotel for its value, great staff, and central location on Broadway. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

The property is under construction. Pictures of what it will look like after renovation are out front and it will look beautiful. Until that time, we understand the property is under construction and is not renovated. We did have a questionable room, but the staff was awesome and got us into a room very quick (thank you Michael). Went to Seaside for a ladies' weekend and we had a great time. We enjoyed our room with a view of the water. We also enjoyed the pool/spa (although we recommend coming outside of the weekend when lots of kids are present), but it is nice when the adult only timeframe for the pool/spa are implemented. We look forward to returning after the renovation for our next ladies weekend.

The good: staff were great. Room was clean. Lobby was welcoming. Coffee in lobby was good. Pool and hot tub were relaxing. Not so good: Room was HOT. Opened window but room was next to the elevator and had a fair share of loud intoxicated guests going in and out so had to close it. Bed was hard as a rock. “Adjoining room” had a yappy dog that barked at every little noise. Not the motels fault but just added to the no sleep issue. It was a holiday weekend but rate was way too much for the tiniest room I’ve ever stayed in and no sleep.

Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Hotel I made a reservation at this hotel well in advance, but when I arrived after a 4-hour drive, I was told they couldn’t accommodate me. I arrived 2 hours before the scheduled check-in time, and despite this, they refused to let me check in. I decided to leave and come back in 2 hours, only to find that when I returned, they had sold my room to someone else. This is incredibly poor customer service. Not only did I waste my time and energy, but I also lost my reservation without any consideration for the inconvenience caused. It’s unacceptable to treat customers like this, especially after making a confirmed booking. I’ll never stay here again and strongly recommend others to be cautious when booking.

This hotel has always been our place to stay. They are undergoing renovations. They gave us a room on the third floor next to the construction, and over the restaurant’s venting fans. We requested a room on the fifth floor on the other side. We asked for housekeeping to change the bed. They did the dishes. It was so disappointing.

The Promenade Inn At It's Best!

The stay was absolutely perfect in every way. It was a beautiful view from our room of the ocean panoramic view as well as the pool. We loved the room, the beds and the kitchen. Everything was clean . Best of all was your front desk help. We first met Paul who is the perfect front desk person who is very helpful , kind and considerate. We also met Bailey who was very incredible as well. To meet Paul would have been a truly special experience in itself... with his wonderful personality but to meet Bailey enhanced our whole stay even more. They both exuded friendliness and kindnesses and went out of their way to serve us. We thank you for hiring this kind of employee.
