a nice overall change

All around a good stay. I have to share upon check in I took issue with the room I was originally assigned, it was not anything like as described from my purchase through hotels.com. No balcony, the bed certainly was not a king and the "kitchen" as I was descrived on the phone was a mini fridge and microwave. We couldn't even fit our luggage in the room. After expressed my disappointment with the hotel manager, she was able to compensate and work something out so that we ended up in a suite, which aligned with what was pictured from my original booking. I couldn't have been more grateful for her help and assitance. The hotel was clean and conveniently close to the boardwalk in Seaside, the view of the River was fantastic.

The view of the river was beautiful. They had warm chocolate chip cookies for us in the afternoon. The room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. We were able to park the car and walk all over town. We would definitely stay here again!

Had problems with the tv connection. Pillows were crappy. I checked out and tried to get a receipt but was unable to cause the guy told me I would get one by email since I made reservations online. I think I should of received a receipt when I checked out. The hotel should be able to print one even though I made reservations online.

Only problem was that they didn’t have basic cable. No CNN, FOX, ESPN, TBS etc. or at least the staff was unable to help. One person gave us directions which didn’t work. I don’t think he understood what I wanted. Another staff member simply said he didn’t know anything about the tv service. Thanks!!
