We thought this was a hotel but it’s a motel. Room smelled like stale old smoke even though it was a non-smoking property. Overall the room was clean but we thought more of a hotel vs motel. Which for a motel it is clean.

Room was huge but terribly outdated. Our room had no heat, couldn’t get ahold of people at the front desk. Wallpaper under sink was coming off and looked like it had water damage

Comfortable but showing age

We were upgraded to a 2 room suite; the 2nd bedroom had NO light bulbs. Took 1 from the 1st room (1 lamp was missing a bulb in 1st room) and placed it in the 1 working lamp in the 2nd room. Hotel in beginning stages of being run down, but bed was comfortable, bathroom was very clean so we were comfortable for one night. Desk persons at check-in and check-out were very nice and helpful.

This is a 2 star hotel, not 3! Breakfast was old breakfast burrito, granola bars and juice. But get it before 9 or its gone and they dont restock even though advertised til 10. Showers were moldy, cable went in and out, ice maker was hidden 25 rooms away and housekeeping never came for fresh towels. Coos bay is an industrial town, but i expected more for $135 a night here.

Sad to say not the best stay.

The check in went smoothly but then it went down hill. The television didn't work, i tried to call up to the front desk but nobody answered. I walked back up to reception and they sent someone down but he couldn't figure out why it wasn't working still wasn't resolved by check in the morning. Tried to take a shower but it wasn't draining at all. It filled up to the point where i was really worried about flooding. Got dressed attempted to call reception and again nobody answered. I walked back up and let them know about the problem which by this time we were tired from driving all day so we just went to back to the room with issue unresolved. Next morning at checkout and couldn't find anyone at the front desk.

We had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. The location was also a plus—just a short walk to a lively area with plenty of bars and restaurants. Unfortunately, the property itself felt quite run down. The pool had a dirty cover on it and didn’t appear to be in use, and the hot tub was out of order, which was disappointing. While the bed was comfortable enough, the room lacked basic amenities like a closet or any space to hang clothes, which made things a bit inconvenient. Overall, the service and location were highlights, but the condition of the property and lack of in-room amenities left room for improvement.

Dated buildings and furnishings beyond end of life. Gravel on the carpet in my room. AC controls locked out, had to remove a cheap clamp to open window for cold air, which meant i had to leave my curtains open on the ground floor. Just had a very sketchy vibe. All they had left was yogurt for the "Breakfast", but they said the sandwiches would be refilled in a couple days. Not much help to me that morning. I would stay anywhere else in Coos Bay before booking here again.

Our room was clean, the person at the front desk was pleasant. The day of our leave we wanted to shower and to our shock the shower head in the shower produced no water. No one came to our room to check it out. We had to be at a reunion at noon! I have called the manager several times and have not received a call back for some type of compensation! Check your shower to see if it works when you get into the room!
