Not a pleasant stay

Walls were extremely thin. Could hear the upstairs people all night long walking around and every word our neighbors were saying in their morning adult session, which is fun to explain to children! Also woke up to ants all over the desk/microwave area, which front desk did not seem to care about at all. Mold in shower and door does not have the upper lock usually in hotels.

A friend recommended this property re: cleanliness etc. and she was right. It turns out there is no longer a restaurant and bar on property. There is one across the street yet only does breakfast on weekends.

I have stayed at Jots so many times because it is awesome at such a low price! The staff have always been so nice and so has the property. The restaurant right across the street is to die for, so we walk over for dinner. This last time, there was a hidden mess in my room that I couldn’t leave there. I called the front and the nicest woman came and cleaned it up for me. I understood and could see how it could be missed, so I didn’t make a scene and won’t do into details here. It was, however, slightly disappointing that she told me she spoke with her manager and management didn’t even offer a complimentary stay. I would never demand it, but I certainly feel like it would have been more than reasonable and accommodating to offer it. I know people who throw fits get it, but it should be happily offered to the respectful people, especially.
