We expected more for the price. Cashless at all hotel stores and restaurants was a nuisance. We stayed here because it was close to the Grand Ole Opry which was the reason for the trip. The gardens and waterfalls were very nice as was the greenery. Front staff was great. Concierge was too aggressive on the sale of excursions, I thought.

Gaylord resort is beautiful. The atrium pathways, plants, rivers, waterfalls, restaurants, are all amazing. Having an app that helps you find your way around the grounds was very helpful.

hotel is decent. The rooms are clean, albeit small. When I booked the room, it said it sleeps 5, which was exactly how many I needed. I assumed maybe a pull out couch or similar. This was not the case, and I guess it would sleep 5 if you slept 3 to a queen size bed. When I asked about a roll away or cot, they said I could have one for a hundred more dollars. At the price of the rooms and when advertised as "sleeps 5," this seemed ridiculous. Fortunately, my 13 year old didn't mind making a little bed on the floor. The hotel is absolutely huge, which is a blessing and a curse. There is lots of restraunts and things to see, but it takes forever to get anywhere, and the place can be like a maze. It is a 6 minute walk to the Grand Ole Opry; which, is amazing, but expect a 40 dollar plus Uber ride to downtown or most other things to see in Nashville. I did go to the Opry one night; which, is amazing, and I highly recommend it, but most of the other things I went to see were downtown. I would have saved a bunch of money by staying closer to downtown and taking one Uber ride to the Opry. The staff was friendly with the exception of the cleaning lady who knocked on our door at 8:15 am to ask if we were checking out. We were, but didn't plan on leaving until checkout time. I thought that rushing us out at 8:15 was a little low rent and unprofessional.

It is a wonderful place to stay. But it is so big. Initially easy to get turned around. We only stayed one night, so didn’t have time to enjoy all the hotel has to offer. Beautiful!

An absolute oasis in Nashville. The conservatory greenhouse atmosphere was so enchanting and relaxing. The food and drinks were four star too. The only thing is that I would want the restaurants to be open to 11 pm.

This is a magnificent facility but everything is expensive! Crazy expensive! There 2 days and 1 night and spent over $1200 for room, water park, and 3 meals for 2 adults and 2 children. Nothing is complimentary! Even pay $37 to self park.
