Usually this is our favorite hotel to stay at in Omaha. We were really disappointed at the cleanliness this time. There was hair in our shower and on the carpet, the carpets on the floor hallway were unclean and stained, two sets of elevators were broken. The staff were excellent and valet was also excellent.

I am a Hotels.com Silver member and was expecting a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival, but nothing was in room. I didn't question it as it wasn't my job to remind staff. Otherwise wonderful stay, comfortable, clean and close walking proximity to Old Marketplace. Will definitely re-book if I ever find my may back to Omaha.

The surrounding area is in a seedy part of downtown, you don’t want to be walking around after dark. The shuttle is completely unreliable. I called a day ahead of time to arrange for the airport shuttle to take me to the hotel and it never arrived, i had to call the hotel 3 times and each time was promised the driver was on their way to the airport. The hotel staff did apologize for this however and were very kind in their response. I tried to use the shuttle again as it is advertised it will run within a 3 mile radius, it was not available once again. The standard rooms are on the smaller side compared to other hotels. The bathrooms have a sliding door which is fine to close but opening is a bit difficult. The showers are built on a narrow platform so you have to step up in order to climb into the shower. They do have a safety handrail against the wall. The showers have a thin curtain barrier so water does pour onto the floor even if you’re being careful. The facility is kept clean and the staff is friendly. However, the lounge is kept locked when the bar is closed which is between 2 and 4pm and immediately after 10 pm on weekdays. The courtyard is very pretty and available anytime but if the weather is inclement there wouldn’t be anywhere else to commune outside of your individual hotel room. It would be a pretty venue for a wedding as I’m sure they open up more of the hotel common areas in that case, and it’s just fine for an overnight stay.

The hotel was so unique as if you stepped back in time. Bathrooms were strange. Toilet placed oddly in front of sink, shower had a giant step up and very narrow. Staff was friendly. A bit musty smelling in rear entrance way and throughout hotel.

Beautiful courtyard & gorgeous decor/restaurant. For the price per night, including parking would give guests a more welcome feeling. The hotel has a smell to it that makes us want to visit during the holidays.

The character of a vintage hotel near the edhe of the Market District. Staff were friendly and drinks at the bar were very good! Downsides were issues with elevators and very small black bugs in bathroom.

We reserved a king room but when we checked in were told we were upgraded to a queen suite. I thought we would have two queen beds like most hotel rooms so this wouldn’t be a problem, but despite reserving a king bed we got just one queen bed for the two of us which was not super comfortable. The upgrade meant we got a living room and kitchen, which we didn’t need because we were only staying one night. I don’t think it’s right of this place to put us in a queen bed when the reservation was for a king under the guise of it being an “upgrade.” The entire unit smelled really musty and moldy. I have asthma and when I woke up noticed myself wheezing a bit. I don’t think I could have stayed in the room for more than one night. The carpets were pretty disgusting, paint was peeling, and the unit looked quite outdated. It was also strange to have a kitchen with no dishes, silverware, or cookware. We stayed at the Cottonwood our first time in Omaha and I would return there next time.
