Our unplanned stay here completely changed my opinion of La Quinta! We're from SW Texas and used to travel often to San Antonio for medical appts so we stayed in a wide variety of hotels. I discovered that I really did not care for La Quintas there. So when my husband booked the appt because my surgery ran long I groaned. My opinion has changed drastically! I was very impressed...from the immaculantly clean room (Thanks Maria) to the very warm and welcoming Crystal at reception. She even anticipated every little thing we would need for our impromptu "picnic" in front of the TV in our room. She definitely puts the "Hospitality" in your busness. Thank you very much Crystal! Don't lose either of these ladies because they are a great credit to your business and we will definitely stay here again!

The Air conditioning in our room only worked off and on, when it did work still didnt put out enough to cool the room but made horrible constant clanking sound.

Pushy Housekeeping

Despite having our Do Not Disturb sign on the door, the head of housekeeping came barging into our room before check-out time. Also, one of the side entrances was not working. But besides these things, this was an otherwise good hotel, and we would probably stay here again.

Excellent except for shower floor

The room was very clean and the staff very helpful. There was a poor repair job done on a hole in the bottom of the shower floor. It sank when I stepped on it, so I felt unsafe. Other than that everything was excellent.

Water pressure was awful. Hot water not hot. Bathtub old with some mildew and mold. Room was clean. Didn’t replace used cups or ice bucket bag. Front desk personnel very nice. Breakfast meh. It was exceptional for a La Quinta which are usually nasty. I try to avoid La Quinta if possible. Price was acceptable and because of the area I took a chance. Wasn’t bad but could have been better. $10 to $20 more would have gotten me much better accommodations just a little further away from venue that we were attending. Next time I will spend the extra for better.

Stayed 3 nights and the entire stay had cold to lukewarm water. On the day I left I woke at 3 a.m. thinking there would be hot water. Not! Otherwise, the place is very good, the location is excellent.
