Not worth it

The room was mediocre, at best. The tub was yellowing and cracking; there was dust and hair on the toilet; there was, what looked like, a blood spot on the wall. When we asked for more pillows, we were told we were only allowed 2 extra. The pillows were all hard and small. We used the pool once, it was not clean, had too many chemicals, and turned our jewelry black. The local jewelry stores could not get them back to normal. The breakfast was good if you got there right when the opened. Overall the experience was not great.

Didn't have any problems, everything went smooth. Seems like most motels could go through once in a while and clean the coffee makers in all the rooms. But that is an issue I've seen every where. So the La Quinta is better than most.

The property is normal for the area. But the La Quinta itself, is much cleaner and nicer than the Hawthorn or Motel 6. The Motel 6 is full of cockroaches and the Hawthorn reeks of cigarette smoke (at least the hall on the 2nd floor and room #225 do). Like all motels, I don't think they every clean the coffee makers
