Due to an emergency maintenance involving the hot spring pump, the natural hot spring at the public baths, Traditional Room, Non Smoking (With Private Hot Spring Bath), and Royal Suite, 1 Bedroom, Private Bathroom, Ocean View is unavailable until further notice. Water heated by the property will be manually added to the public baths.
A scheduled power outage will take place on February 26, 2025, from 1-5 AM. The hot spring bath in the 'Traditional Room, Non Smoking (With Private Hot Spring Bath)' room type will be unavailable from 11 PM on February 26 to 5 AM on February 27, 2025.

The hotel offers a great view and unlimited use of it's hot spring. The rooms are spacious and ample free parking space. Definitely a gem in Nanjo. If you are not dining at the hotel you should know nearby options are limited but if you're exploring Nanjo by rental vehicle then it is good.

This is an older hotel/resort, and it shows a bit. Our traditional room was a bit worn, particularly the private spa bath, which was rather corroded, with mold on the ceiling. I realize the climate and the spa room are both very humid, and I don't have the experience to know if this is just considered normal. The buffet dinner was excellent though, and the staff were very helpful.

Beautiful Onsen facilities. Very special muddy salty 40 - 44 degree C baths. This is a very Japanese hotel. We liked the Japanese room. It was large, with a nice view looking down towards a village and the Pacific. For an American, this was a very unusual hotel, very nice. One and only one downside is this place is a bit difficult to get to or get from. Taxi is pretty much the only option, and this place is a bit "out there" so we rang up a lot of taxi fares. Again, the onsen and massage services are fantastic. Cleared up my son's skin problems is three days. Very nice. Breakfasts very good too. Very Japanese, very good.

What I Like : It was a great experience with stay in a traditional Japanese-style room with attached bathroom. There was also balcony with great view. Very decent room size for a family of 3, that has a foyer to remove shoes before entering room. We had given access to the lounge that offered light snack and drinks. Staffs were courteous even though they spoke limited English. There was onsen in next building free for guests to use but we didn't have time to enjoy it due to very short stay at this hotel. Disadvantage : This hotel is located on a hill which gives very good view overlooking the town and sea but it's also quite remoted. There was not much in the vicinity. Probably need to drive to get to out to find other amenities that hotel does not offer.
