The room was nice but needed some tlc. Specifically the ceiling which had old cobwebs hanging. Bedroom window was great. Loved the big window. Most of the room was quite clean.

Very convenient location. Staff friendly. Security (i.e. front door) seemed good; required room key to unlock 24-hrs). There didn't seem to be a restaurant or bar; just cash only vending machines, granola bars and coffee downstairs. The building is definitely older and worn; lots of wear & tear in the rooms, although clean. The internet is so bad it's virtually non-existent.

Decent, no frills, & clean place to stay. Great location near the harbor, and we had plenty of parking during our stay. Our toilet was quite loud and housekeeping only changed our towels, not sheets (we didn't put the "don't change our sheets" card on the bed). Other than that it was affordable and we felt relatively safe here. Keep in mind you need $200 cash deposit for a three or more night stay. Pets are allowed here.

I was very pleased with myself for having chosen the hotel Oceanside. The front desk staff is outstandingly friendly and helpful, the building is pleasant and well appointed, the location is near the ocean, and the price is good.

Nicer on the outside, old on the inside. Overused sheets and old interior. Has a kitchen .. why? No plates, cups or utensils. Rooms need to be updated. Didn’t feel safe at location in Oceanside. Also on a loud street. Staff is not professional at all. Would not recommend.

I booked this hotel and found it’s in a bad area. This was confirmed when they required a 200.00 cash only deposit to “hold” with an ATM in the corner. I was not comfortable with this and asked to cancel. They let me cancel but refused to refund any of my trip. I do understand having to pay for the first day but that is not what happened. Don’t be fooled by the photos it’s smoke and mirrors.

Disappointing experience

Someone had used the toilet in our daughter's room and did not flush. There were only 3 pillows on their bed, my husband and I had 5, same type of room. Our room door was at times very difficult to open, it jammed quite often and we were not able to lock it from the inside (the latch would not catch). We find it strange that beds are no longer made daily unless requested. We stayed 3 nights and shampoo/conditioner were not replaced without request. Staff did not acknowledge guests when going through the lobby unless we addressed them first. We stayed at this property several times and the quality seems to be going down every time. We will look at other options on our next trip.

Nice property for a last minute stay. The room doors lock didn’t work and they couldn’t switch our rooms or give a discount due to late check in. Will say it was a great stay but will not be first choice for a next time stay.
