If you want to rent by the hour this is your place

The room was the size of a closegt...no place to hang our clothes...concrete floor...nothing but VERY hot water in the sink, and all a direct result of misleading pictures on their profile.

Cute and kitschy

Sweet, quaint little place, convenient to downtown Ocala. It's an older building, but well-kept. The staff were super nice. Will definitely stay again!

Amazing little gem.

Staff was amazing and the bed was soooo comfortable. My room had an electric fireplace. This is not a chain hotel. It has character.

Great Find

This motel was a great find. It is so comfortable and homey you tricked into believing you’re not in a cold hotel. Rooms are decorated beautifully. Great customer service as well

Fine for a couple nights

Not a motel/inn I'd probably stay at again, but it was fine for the couple of nights we were there. Right on a main road and across from the Police Station, so felt plenty safe but the nighttime noise was pretty loud. Our room was VERY small, but again, served it's purpose. The shower water temperature would be my only real complaint. Didn't matter time of day...it took 15+ minutes to get to tempid/warm, never got hot.

I booked based on the reviews. The traffic noise that people spoke of was manageable with my sound machine app on my phone. The check in was easy enough and the staff member was friendly and got us extra towels as I had requested. I ended up not using them and decided to shower at our next place because the tub porcelain was peeling and the shower head was so low you would have to bend in half to use it. The bathroom wasn’t in the cleanest condition. There was a woman’s fake nail by the toilet and the sink top didn’t look terribly clean. The bed was ok. It was a king and definitely been used-a lot, as it was deeply sagging on the sides and not in the middle. The ambiance was ok. Kind of a shabby chic vibe. Quirky and eclectic. The snacks were nice and it had a good working refrigerator. The area had a few homeless hanging around so it wasn’t the safest feeling. It was ok for a night but I wouldn’t want to stay more than that.

Not as it appears on websites. I take issue that the hotel (motel) does not state full conditions for the room rental on their website, nor on the Expedia website. To wit: the below "Quote" regarding Check In Times was received AFTER we booked the room in the acknowledgement we received from the property. Issue is regarding the conditions of check in; if you are delayed for whatever reason and arrive after 11, you are left out in the cold. THE CONDITIONS REGARDING CHECKIN SHOULD BE MADE CLEAR TO PROSPECTIVE GUESTS ON BOTH THE MOTEL WEBSITE AND ON THE EXPEDIA WEBSITE, prior to book. To refuse a guest who has paid for and confirmed accommodations, and who arrive late if they have been delayed, is unconscionable. You did not advise the patron of the requirement prior to accepting the reservation or their money. This issue did not affect our check in, however might leave a guest out in the dark and cold at some point. The room was not clean. Black Mold on the ceiling, walls of the bathroom. The floor was dirty. There were holes in the wall plugged with TP. Loud noise from traffic, and some poor soul outside screaming at midnight for over an hour. "Check-in: 3:00 pm* Check Out: 11:00 am NOTE: We are NOT a 24 hr hotel. If you are arriving after 10 pm please contact the onsite hotel manager to make arrangements by email using _@_, or call directly. Late arrival window is 10pm-11pm and there is a $30 late arrival fee. Arrivals after 11:00pm will unfortunately not be accepted."

The room was lovely. Completely remodeled with beautiful floors and a fantastic shower! The front desk was efficient and friendly, and other than a few cars going by it was nice and quiet. Overall a wonderful experience at a motel that reminded me so very much of Old Florida. The things that motel has seen over the years.

The sink had a barely trickle of running water. When brought to the staff attention, HE SAID "yeah, it's been broke awhile" non chalant like.. oh well. PISS POOR ATTITUDE .noisy area on a main heavy traffic street. hard to get some sleep. no reply on getting sink water fixed. room was extremely small. web pictures was not what property looked like. Do not recommend at all.

It’s a cute place to stay, and really conveniently located to downtown bars and restaurants. The electric fireplace and the other in-room appliances were nice! Our room was mostly clean, but the nightstand had some toenail clippings on it, which really grossed us out, and the rug was a bit dirty looking. The staff is terse but not rude. Would definitely stay here again.

I booked this hotel for the location and ratings. Location was good and place looked ok for the cost. The remote control got misplaced and when I looked under the bed there were bugs, dirt, dust and a dirty pair of pleather speedos. I couldn’t wait to leave in the morning. I called the hotel number in the morning for over an hr to let them know we were leaving and where I left the key. No one answered or called me back. I went back after breakfast to give them the key. Office hours state they open at 10am. No one there at 10am. We left.

Older Motel

The rating from Hotel.com for this facility was quite high, but my rating would have been much lower; it is a very old motel from the 50’s or 60’s and the bath fixtures were not in good shape. The bathtub was rusty with paint trying to cover the rust. Lighting is low making for a dim, dingy room. If not for it being so late and tired, I would not stayed the night. The AC worked but the heat did not.
