Great hotel in Oaxaca !

The hotel is wonderful, clean comfortable and a pleasure to return to each day ... we have stayed here before . Central to all important places to visit This time .... ( group made up of 4 couples) ...we were very impressed with the buffet breakfast and the very competent breakfast staff who couldn't do enough for you . The day time female receptionist was also attentive and helpful. Cleaning staff of hotel/ rooms couldn't be faulted . Service was sadly let down we all felt by the surly male night receptionist/ porter who never smiled and resented it seems any interaction with guests . Such a shame . We will still return to the hotel next year for our visit to Oaxaca ... hopefully the night porter will have learnt better people skills by then!!

Good overall

Great hotel walking distance to all spots. It’s in more of a locals commercial area with local shopping and street food. About 10-15 min walk to Zocala square. Free parking in a private lot 2 min walk. We got a queen balcony city view room for 2 nights. Breakfast 8/10. All great except there was no hot water for two days!

Great location, room, staff, and breakfast

Great location just a 10 minute walk to the Zocolo, a couple of blocks from Benito Juarez and 20 de Noviembre markets. Great freshly made breakfast daily, very tasty. Staff are all outstanding—incredibly friendly and helpful.
